Just what I was looking for.
I have only owned this for a few weeks but it has completely solved my Issues and problems so this gets a 5* review. I had a lot of issues with my wrists actually getting sore and inflamed from using a mouse over and over all day long. My wrist physically hurt and became very sensitive to sitting on a surface while using the mouse.I tried a wrist rest, I tried an oversized mouse pad, I used gel ice packs, I even tried pillows from the kids doll sets.......everything, but nothing worked to relieve the pain and irritation. This device worked and relieved the awkward and odd pain within a few days. I will definitely buy Another one for the office as well as the home office. It takes the pressure off of sensitive areas and moves easily. It is adjustable and very solid. It’s not heavily padded, but the padding has a adequate feel for long use each day.

A great fix for ergonomic issues.
I came to the conclusion I was developing Radial Tunnel Syndrome in my elbow, due to the less than great ergonomics of my home desk & needed something to help fix the situation. I've been using this for several months while working & my elbow pain is much improved, almost gone. Seems to have saved me a trip to the orthopedist, so $33 well spent. The rest is very sturdy & well made. Stays clamped tight to the desk & the swivel/tilt adjustability is excellent. Elevates my elbow off the desk nicely, which seems to alleviate the joint stress my low desk was causing.

Amazing arm mount!
This arm mount is amazing. Love how comfortable it is and how it helps support your arm at any which position in you are sitting. I wasn't satisfied with the stiffness so I loosened the screws a tiny bit and it works like water. So smooth!Only critique is that after I moved to a different desk at work, the desk is 2.5" thick and this product will never work. The rubber pad within the clamp technically makes this mount hold on to a max of about 2.4" thick desk. If your desk is the exact thickness of what is advertised in the product description, good luck fitting it because it's not going to fit.

Game changing for shoulder pain
I've been struggling with carpal tunnel and near constant pain in my shoulder for a few months. I realized part of the problem was switching to an ergonomic keyboard that is tented; while this is good for the carpal tunnel it was making me hold my arm up the entire time I was typing to reach the inner, most-tented part of the keyboard leading to shoulder pain. This arm rest has helped a lot. I mounted it to my standing desk and adjusted both the desk and the arm rest angle to get the exact right height. The shoulder pain has gone down to like 10% and now I can just focus on the carpal tunnel, keep on using my nice ergonomic tented keyboard, and don't have severe shoulder pain anymore. Instead of holding my arm up, the arm rest is doing all that. It's easy to use and you don't have to think too hard about using it.The arm rest itself is well made. It's mostly metal with a few plastic parts. It's easy to mount, has smooth, loose swiveling so it moves with your hand naturally, and is not uncomfortable in any way. These days I'm trying to take more typing breaks but now and then I've forgotten and can do ~3 hours consecutively using the arm rest, where in the past I wouldn't be able to type after an hour. It really is a night and day kind of difference in comfort. Now I won't say this is some miracle product that will fix all your problems, but specifically for the issue of holding your arm up persistently over the keyboard it is ideal. I do think having the standing desk it important to fine tune the height as the arm rest has 5 angles which is good but the desk gives you all the in-between positions. For those if you going through a similar thing it was also helpful to get a trackball instead of a mouse for my non-dominant hand, and I got a keyboard with a bank of programmable keys so I could map keys I'd normally hit with my right (the arrows, page up/down, and home/end keys) using my left hand instead. It's all about minimizing how much you have to do with the hand that's injured.I bought a spare arm rest because this thing is so great and I'll probably be using it forever. Hopefully it will help you too.

works well and is strudy
I lowered my review. this is less than a year old and the pins keep falling out. trying to put them back in is horrible. when you get one back in 2 more fall out. very bad qualitry==================When I bought this, I fully expected to have to return it. Once I got it and tried it though I knew it was perfect for me. I sit in the living room in a recliner with a custom-made table and my arms get sore reaching for the mouse. this gives me the support I need. it is very studied and it is adjustable up and down to get a perfect fit. I love it.

I LOVE IT!
What an awesome product. I work from my home office and on average, I am at my computer 10 hours a day 7 days a week. With this much seat time, the smallest of changes in posture, components and furniture can have a significant impact on my overall comfort and health. I began experiencing pain on my left palm and lower forearm where it rests on my desk. I purchased a wrist support pad, which solved the pain in my palm but not my forearm. I purchased this product 7 months ago and I haven't experienced any discomfort since. I'm sure everyone's situation is a little different, but I found using this product in conjunction with a cushioned wrist pad in front of my keyboard creates the perfect support. The entire arm rest can swing left to right in 180° and the part that is in contact with your forearm spins 360°. The arm itself has 6 different height settings, with the lowest setting at equal height with the desk surface and the highest setting approximately 2-1/2" above the horizontal plane of the desk.I'm a pretty heavy guy and so, over this 7 month period, the height of the arm rest seems to have decreased by about 1/2" at each setting but this subtle change is easily remedied by simply moving the arm up to the next available height setting.When/if I ever do wear this product out, I'll be ordering a replacement.Great Product!!!
