Been using Norton antivirus for years and never had any issues. I don’t renew because of the excessive cost to renew versus just buying it new each year. I’ll purchase again next December again.

You just have to have something. I have used Norton and Mcafee both. Norton sucks you in, then notifies you, that you have issues, and for more money you can have this all taken care of. Always for the remainder of your subscription. They put fear into you, so you will just have to have what they are selling. What a racket. Oh if we could all go without all of this. Money , Money, More Money. Then you have to get the 3 reporting agencies involved, because you have been hacked.

I purchase this or a similar Norton product pretty much every year. I tend to pick it up during Black Friday. Adding it to my existing account has never been a problem and the actual installation is super easy. An important tip is to immediately go in and turn off the auto-renewal.

Have been a Norton user since Norton 2000, using current 360 version on 3 laptops & 2 desktops...This current 1 'device' purchase, digital download was hindered by Norton not recognizing my purchase/confused by additional sub purchase, followed by a ever increasing upsell download process...Once installed, the continual upsell for N's additional stuff combined with reminders & "your computer is at risk" baloney, is annoying at best & disingenuous, imoThus, 3 stars. Good protection, but Norton like most of the Net companies has become a monetization machine.

I mistakenly thought purchasing Norton would help my PC, which had some issues regarding slipping into "Blue Screen of Death" mode. Actually, now I think it was just a bad 'driver'... This was a misconception I was soon to learn, was wrong. This version of Norton does nothing, a total waste of money. All it does is... not-scan your computer and instead unleashes a torrent of ads trying to sell you additional security products to... allegedly scan for viruses, clean your PC's memory and history, etc. Each of these additional products cost appx $80+ annually. This $20 item, can wind up costing you $500. Norton also "takes over" your PC, making it hard to use your own pass-words and access your files. Oh, and Amzn won't allow a refund, after you figure out how badly you wasted your money on this scam. Shame on you both. And... you'll be stuck, thanks to Amzn, on a Norton auto-bill, which will bill you $80 annually to renew your Norton, whether you like it or not. Shame on both of you, again.
