Juicing celery, citrus and ginger daily is a breeze! Super effective, quick, and easy to clean!
Love this juicer! Wanted something that would be easy for juicing celery daily and this one fits the bill. It is very effective and only takes a few minutes to clean, so I can make a small amount of fresh juice every day instead of having to make it in bulk like with some other juicers that are so time consuming to use. I juice a drink with celery, ginger, lemon, lime and parsley daily and it powers through all of it like a champ, quickly and easily! Highly recommend!

I love the effectiveness of this product. The juice is nice and smooth without pulp. I also enjoy the ease by which the machine can be cleaned.

Great juicer for a great price!
The media could not be loaded. First of all, I want to say that I’m really pleased with this juicer. I looked at other juicers online, and many of them are hovering around the $300 mark. Obviously like most people, I didn’t wanna spend that much but at the same time I am willing to pay for quality. After reading several reviews on many different juicers, I felt that I would take a chance on this one. While it was significantly cheaper, I worried that the quality wouldn’t be there. however, they do offer a year and a half warranty. So I figured I can’t go wrong. I bought this juicer exclusively to make celery juice. I do recommend, as the manufacture suggests, to cut the celery into 3 cm strips. Also add them one at a time while juicing. sometimes you can add a second one at the same time if it’s particularly skinny. My goal each time is to yield 500 mL of juice. I did notice though that the pulp still seems quite wet. So one day I decided to put the pulp into a nut bag to ring out the pulp and see how much juice I got from it. I got an additional 100 mL from the pulp. So basically, you are losing 20% of the juice if strictly just take the juice that has been extracted from the juicer. i’ve done this several times now, and each time it works out to be an additional 100 mL. Now, this may be typical for a masticating juicer, I don’t know since I don’t have any other masticating juicer to compare it to. It could be that even if you spent $300 bucks on a juicer the same thing might happen. So I can’t entirely comment on the efficiency of this juicer versus others. But since I have a nut bag, I don’t mind. (by the way, I got my net bag at Whole Foods and I paid $3.99 for it. I’m sure you could find one on Amazon as well.) One little idiosyncrasy about the juicer that I noticed is it wiggles a bit when you are juicing your produce. The base doesn’t move, but the extension part that is doing all the work does wiggle a bit. I imagine that’s normal. Again, I don’t know if any other masticating juicer would do the same. The juicer is very quiet as well. I am attaching a video, and I have to confess that it seems louder in the video than it actually is. You could easily make the juice with someone else asleep in the other room and you wouldn’t wake anybody up. Overall though, I’m really happy with the juicer. The cleanup is super easy. The brush that they include to help you clean everything out is great. There’s nothing sharp that you could cut yourself on. Assembly and disassembly is very easy as well.

Leaves LOTS of grit/pulp in the carrot juice
The media could not be loaded. Cons: If you're getting this primarily for stuff like carrots and you don't want pulp/gritty veggie bits in your juice, then you'll need to add a second step to your juicing process. The bits that go into the juice are the larger side of coffee grains. This makes it very unpleasant to drink and will make you cough when you swallow it because the bits are large enough to be quite bothersome to the throat. Full disclosure- this is the first slow juicer I've ever owned so I'm not sure if this is the standard performance for these or not. I just got this item today and juiced some carrots. I'll purchase a reusable coffee pod filter to filter the juice through after juicing. The one star I deducted was for this reason. Would be nice if there was a coffee pod type of fine mesh over the hole where the juice exits from, which would prevent the need for this added step I'll have to do.Pros: EXTREMELY easy to put together, take down and clean. It comes with a brush to get the pulp out of the filter. Strong enough to crush carrots easily. It isnt very loud, makes far less noise than a blender and is very quick (took about one minute for 3 carrots, going to use a stopwatch next time and update this review when I do). And last but not leas- the pulp it ejects has most of the juice extracted from it, it's quite dry instead of slightly soggy. Conclusion: Overall I really like it and recommend it, but the added step of straining it is a bit of a bummer. Might be the case for all juicers though.
