I bought this bottle in advanced before see my new puppy. On the drive home it was very useful because I could one store food on the bottom and water on the top and two the feature to switch the button down to let water out and switch the it back to stop the water flow. And when you’re done with water left over you can unlock the switch and put the water back instead of having to dump it out. This was very handy to use driving back and I am glad I bought this item.

The media could not be loaded. I've seen these portable dog water bottles in several of the dog Instagram pages that I follow and ever since then - I've been on the lookout for one myself. Not really sure of the different water bottles, but I ended up choosing this one as it's both a water bottle AND a food storage - making it super convenient when going on longer hikes/traveling with the dogs.This product is able to store 200 mL of food at the bottom of the device and around 250 mL of water in the center portion. The top portion is the actual water drainage that can be controlled with a click of a button, allowing the water to flow out into the open mouthed cup. I believe you can also unscrew the bottom with the food and empty it into the cup. There is a plastic seal ring inside of the bottle, allowing for it to be screwed and keeping water from leaking. Make sure to be careful with that ring as it is very easy to lose.After a few clicks, I was able to get it to work. The button is a little on the harder side to manipulate, but I like that it's solid feeling and clicks into place. The dogs were able to easily drink water from the open cup. And cleaning everything is a breeze! So glad I finally picked one up - can't wait to take this for hikes/walks with the dogs.

I read conflicting thoughts on this item based on the reviews. However all was great until I attached the bottom piece and it came off completely. The attachment is in the food storage and unable to get out. I hope the seller replies to my inquiry for a replacement.
