I needed a product that could remove fabric pilling on lint covered cotton knee high socks and a overly pilling sweater that I enjoyed wearing but no longer look nice. I gave this a try due to the price and the good reviews. It is so easy to use and works wonderfully, but make sure to read in the instructions as there are some details on how to use it so it will not cause damage. The storage capacity is great if the pilling is not excessive. This fabric shaver is so fun to use when you can see the pilling disappear! The most challenging for me is opening the compartment to remove the pilling. It is a very challenging for me to open and clean, but knowing how it works helps. I maybe that my fingers are too weak due to being older. This fabric shaver is so fun to use when you see the pilling disappear before you eyes. It is more than worth the price I paid. I bought this to shave a couch because couch was looking very shabby. Every surface was pilled and matted. I tried the shaver on various heights and ended up preferring the results when I removed the height adapter. The instructions were great. The quick start guide was spot on. It takes 2 AA batteries that are not included -- so plan ahead to get some batteries (I did not). The battery life has been impressive too. I was able to shave a whole 120" couch + 2 ottomans as well as a sweater on the same batteries with no problem. The lint catcher fills up pretty quickly, so that is kind of annoying, but that means it is doing its job! Removing and emptying the lint catcher is a little tricky. You have to be careful to not accidentally open the battery compartment when sliding the lint compartment in the other direction. But that's not a huge concern. It comes with a cleaning brush and extra blades. Overall, I think it is great quality for the price and do recommend.

Electric lint remover is a wonder. Revive the clothes in seconds, removing lint, balls and loose fibers very easily. It is powerful, but delicate with fabrics, even in thinner garments. In addition, its design is ergonomic and the battery lasts a long time, ideal for use without complications. An essential tool to keep clothes like new for longer!

In the past, I have purchased any number of similar items. Have to admit that this is the best. Does a great job and with different heads, I am hopeful that this will be my last purchase of this type for a while...a long while. It makes the usual noise, nothing approaching obnoxious, appears to have good battery life. It is comfortable to hold (average sized woman's hand), and is easy to clean. I am impressed with the quality of the product, more so because the price was very reasonable. Generally just a good product and good products make me smile !

Works great at cleaning up clothes of piles. Many shirts / sweaters I thought I’d have to throw out have cleaned up very nice. Doesn’t make any look brand new, but 100% better and presentable to wear outside again.Highly recommend.

TLDR: This little de-piller is really good at small / spot depilling; between the legs of leggings, armpits of sweaters, a small section of sweatpants, but not good at “bulk” depilling like a couch, blanket, etc.for spot de-pilling: 8/10For bulk de-pilling: 4/10Pros:- comes with 2 replacement blade heads- has a guard for fragile fabrics that’s adjustable- easy to clean out and take apart for cleaning- great at spot de-pilling like between the legs of leggings, armpits of sweaters, etc- doesn’t cut fabric, even very delicate fabric in my experienceCons- not suitable for bulk de-pilling- if using over a large section of fabric, the pills will get tangled up in the shaft of the spinning component and slow it down significantly at speed 2 / will stop turning entirely on speed 1 and I had to stop to clean it out with tweezers every 2 mins or so- I wish it had some sort of suction to help pull the pills into the shaverThe usefulness and value of this product will depend entirely on what you’re using it for. I want to clean up an entire queen size blanket. It’s not strong enough nor clog resistant enough for this to be worth it. Tho it does do a good job on small areas as mentioned above.
