I wanted a nice quality chef hat. This is no disposable hat. There is an adjustable clasp at the back, and easily fits my head (I measure 7 3/8 hat size/ or about 23 inch). It looks to me like it could handle a 7 3/4 (24.25 inches). Feels like nice material, but won't get too hot. Of course, it is made in China. I would love to buy something like this made in North America, but it will do what I want for a good price.

It was all right fit nice but the top part didn’t seem to want to stay up

I needed a hat that wasn’t so tight around my head and held all my hair for culinary school. It’s perfect! I am worried about the strap breaking after a while but other than that it’s working as I had hoped. I wash it but do not dry it in the dryer. Maybe that will help keep the little strap from drying out and breaking.

I have bought this same kind of hat a couple of times, and I really like the way they look and fit. The adjustable band is a plus, but I know that it wears out, and cracks and breaks. But I have sewn a new strap on, and it was fine.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my son who loves to cook. He's a pretty good cook. I told him he only has to wear it when I'm at his house and he's cooking for me.

This toque will fit a huge variety of head sizes and is easy to adjust with its high quality buckle and strap. It is very well made, and, most importantly, it looks great. It can be arranged in many different styles (high toque, french beret style, pulled back, etc.). Way cool. It will definitely "rock," as a topper for any chef or line cook.
