Willow Tree Sanctuary, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

Of course anybody who has purchased or seen a willow tree figurine, knows you can't go wrong and they are all well made and beautiful. I really loved this one as a gift for my daughter on mother's Day. She is a new mom and this one was perfect!

This was a gift to my daughter on the occasion of her first child. I had previously given her the figurine of an expectant mother. I was surprised that this figurine is considerably shorter than the expectant mother. For that reason, they look a tad odd next to each other. But my daughter was touched and pleased with both figurines, and that is what counts. All of the Willow Tree products are exquisite. Can't go wrong by purchasing them.

My cousin just recently had her baby and this is her first child - I wanted to commemorate the event in a special way for her. When I saw this figurine, I immediately thought of her. She has longer, think hair like this and her baby is a perfect mix of mom and dad (dad is Haitian and mom is anglo-American). This was the perfect present for her to celebrate her and the beginning of her new journey into Motherhood.
