Grimloc carabineer

low quality copy of the original
Spend an extra few dollars and get the original ITW Nexus Grimlocks which these have poorly copied. All four of these "grimlocks" had very sharp corners, particularly on the inside of the latching mechanism, which needed shaving down with a hobby knife in order to avoid scratching soft items (including my fingers) and to latch closed consistantly.

Would not trust it to hold over 10 pounds.
Used for the first time today to hold my hunting backpack in the tree. It snapped! Luckily I caught it before it fell 18ft. My pack definitely doesn't weigh 10 pounds, more like 5.
