Hooray for the Penguin Race
I have 7 adorable grandchildren under the age of 6. I got this for two of them that live in MN, but gave it to them in the presence of their IA cousins. Upon opening it all 4 fell under the spell of the perky penguins chirping and making their way up the ladder and down the slide. The smiles appeared and the only sounds were their sweet giggles, laughing at the penguins antics. (FUN)As it's mostly a watching toy, there was no fighting. At least until they decided to see what happened when they put the penguins on backwards (educational, durable). Not much as it turns out, the mostly stick at the bottom looking like they are kissing (educational?)When my 33 year-old-daughter saw it, she begin to talk of how she had begged for one for years as a child so when I saw it for $10 on Amazon I got her one for Christmas. Don't think she appreciated it, but her kids did.I think it's a darling toy that kids really enjoy watching. Kept them entertained MUCH longer and more effectively that I had thought it would.

Does not work
This was the second time purchasing this product as the first one did not work. Placed batteries in this one and it again would not turn on. Very poor quality. I didn’t expect much for the price but at least thought it would turn on.

The toy was just as described and the cost was very fair. Only issue is with the instructions on assembling the slide. Labeled one way shown another. Needs to be clear and precise

Sharing childhood joys.
I had one of these when I was really young (4-5) that was over 30 years ago. I couldn’t believe they still made them so I had to get one for my kids. My son has ASD so he was super into the “racing.” I knew I loved it as a kid and now my kids get to experience it too.

Really loud.
Way too loud and the quality is not the best. I do have to admit it that it is super fun to watch, but you keep having to be fixing the parts so the little animals don’t get stuck in the middle.
