Must have for canoe trips
If you're going on a canoe trip of any length you need one of these. They are better than what you can rent at most outfitters and they have held up for many years. I've used this seat on many trips and I just bought another one for my son now that he's old enough to join me.

Back Saver
I fish on my canoe alot and after the first 4-5 times i decided to look up a seat and landed on these. Gotta say theyre pretty great and have held up to some abuse, if you need something that doesnt break the bank get one and try it out

Works well with my sit on inflatable kayak.
I bought these for my inflatable kayak, which has a hard bench type seat. They are light, fold flat, and have straps to facilitate carrying them. The back is easily adjustable. My only negative is that the seat section gets a bit hard on the rear after about 2 hours. The comfort of the padding could be improved. Otherwise, I am happy with these seats.

Perfect canoe seat
I took this on a week long canoe trip. It was perfect. I have spine issues and it was really nice to have a solid seat that still had give while paddling. Will definitely use again on my next BWCA jaunt.

Excellent Canoe Seat
I really like this canoe seat! My friend and I have been using stadium seats that you would normally use on bleachers, but this seat has features that make it stand out.The frame is metal construction and the cushions are very comfortable. Its one-fold design makes it easy to deploy and put away. Other seats tend to have multiple folds and it feels like you have to fumble around until you get it right. Not so with this one. The portage lock is a really nice touch to keep it flat in transport as well. The back support is easily adjustable, as well as the clips underneath for the seat. You could even use this sitting at a picnic table or on the ground, making it great for a canoe camping trip. Its size is well though out, too. I'm 6ft and weigh 210 pounds, and the back rest comes up way higher than any other seat I have tried. That makes it really nice to paddle longer distances with a kayak or canoe paddle. This seat is easy to use, comfortable, and is well made. I would definitely recommend it.

Comfortable
I got a pair of these for my canoe. They are comfortable and work great. They are adjustable, so they fit well and hold secure.

Canoe seat
Bought as replacements for my factory Coleman canoe seats. Comfortable and better back support. Can be used as stadium seats also.

Okay but a few problems
Not bad but does not really provide very much lumbar support in terms of a convexity at your low back. Started to show wear after one long weekend paddling trip. Top was too wide for me (average sized female) and I got a huge bruise on my inner arm from hitting the upper corner while paddling. It is quite easy to set up in the canoe.
