Very sturdy.
Sturdy, easy set up. Nicely manufactured. I would suggest that a carry bag be made available as well

Sturdy Stand - Seems to be a Good Height for Bunny Proofing
We've been bunny proofing our family room so I needed new guitar stands to keep them away from the bunny's teeth. (I didn't want to attach grips to the wall and I didn't want to re-locate the guitars.) I kept trying to find reviews that listed the height of the cradle, since I wanted something higher, but couldn't find any. Therefore, my review is primarily for bunny-proofers looking for the same answer. The height from floor to grip is 43 inches, fully extended. The distance between the bottom of my 3 guitars and the floor ranges between 9 and 11 inches (acoustic, resonator, electric). Hanging seems to be another deterrent, since it will swing if the bunny stands on her hind legs and investigates - preventing a firm grip for gnawing. This guitar stand is very sturdy and I love the auto-close feature. She's noticed the rubber feet and has given them a bit of a nibble, but she doesn't seem to notice the guitars hanging above her. I've ordered two more, but I will say that if I had expensive guitars that I wanted to keep in mint condition, I don't know that I would trust this stand with those in regards to the bunny. I think this stand makes it more likely they won't be damaged, but they're not completely bunny-proof for our bunny's size. If you had a dwarf bunny, I would think they'd be fine. Expensive guitars would likely find a home in another room, or I'd break down and install the wall grips.

They Made it Right
I currently own 3 of these. I like to keep the guitars that I play the most in them for easy access. I had one that kind of fell apart after a few years and 30-40 gigs. I use them on stage. I have to admit I was a little discouraged. I emailed the customer service and they said they would send me a replacement... and they did! Whaaaaattttt??? Hard to believe any company these days offers that kind of service. I may have said something about the slow process in another review. I take it back. I thought I was getting the run around but I got the VIP treatment instead.

The only guitar stand I like (after using many)
Gigging out, I dislike most guitar stands so much, I usually prefer to do without. If it's going to be a hassle (with extra parts that go missing and/or tedious setup) or if it's inclined to dump my instrument onto the floor, I'd honestly rather just lean my bass against the amp or stow it in the gig bag on breaks. This is the only stand I actually enjoy using. Simple, quick, solid, reliable, holds up after years of abuse. For me this is The One. The recent purchase is to replace my old one which I stupidly left behind in a parking lot one night.I avoided the fancier model with arms that swivel down when you rest the headstock in the cradle. That's the kind of thing that gets in the way and breaks after just a few months of bouncing around with all the other stands in the truck. (Been there - done that...)One issue I did have with this stand previously: the pin that holds the release lever in place tends to work its way out to one side. No biggie - just get some solid object (like a coin or a pocket knife) and work it back to the center occasionally. If you're worried about the nylon chassis, don't be. I'm usually very down on plastic but I've seen this and the core of one of one of their fancy old mic stands hold for years and years with no troubles.

Good but…
I like these stands but I don’t know why Ultimate went away from the simple turn lock on the bottom. I find the new button design to be more difficult. Still a great stand though…

these stands are always good
I've had several Ultimate Support guitar stands over the years, and they've all been durable, easily adjustable, and fully supported. One of them had a head that would rotate out of position, but it was never a real problem. We'll see how the newer push-button leg lock works in the long run, but so far, so good. I doubt I'll ever buy another kind of single-guitar stand.

Totally & surprisingly disappointed.
Shocking. I thought this was a company that made quality parts. Oh well. I was wrong. I bought the stand in 2021. Since then, it has sat in my home studio with a Semi Hollowbody Guitar on it, using the guitar several times a week. The stand was never folded nor transported out of my house. Suddenly, the stand started to lean to one side and became unstable. How can parts wear out just by sitting in a room? Very disappointing. I’m gonna try and glue it into place just so that it could sit a little longer. Or, it goes in the trash if the glue doesn’t work. Sad. Thank God it was home to catch the Guitar before it folded over completely. Never again.

The only guitar stand you will ever have to buy!
Fantastic!! I have used (and replaced or repaired) the "standard" guitar stands many times over the last 40 years. But then I saw one of these being used at a gig I was playing and was impressed by the functionality and ease of use. When I got home, I ordered 2 for myself. It holds (cradles is a better word for this stand) the guitar much more solidly than the standard guitar stand. No more worries about the guitar slipping or being knocked off the stand - or the strap getting tangled in the bottom holder. The construction is also simpler, much more substantial, and I don't think it will ever wear out or need fixing. When collapsed is easier to stow/carry around, too - the bottom legs don't flop around and you don't have that bottom holder to try to fit someplace. The only complaint I have is that it would be nice if the yoke locking mechanism when collapsing the stand worked better. I use a velcro cable tie to keep the yoke from flopping around while stowing/carrying it. But that is a minor inconvenience to the great functionality of the stand. Well worth the higher initial cost when compared to a standard stand.
