Cuts like butter
I am a weak little trucker chick and needed something sturdy and easy to use. These things cut through the big seals like nothing! I have bought several bolt cutters and it wad a fight getting the big seals off but with these ones it makes life so much easier and not fighting with it for 5-10 minutes/ asking for help. It's great! 10/10 recommend for truckers/warehouses/DC!

Heavy duty, powerful and simple
I purchased this to downsize wire closet shelving because I wanted to avoid a mess of metal shavings that a saw would have most definitely created. I will say this: I am confident that I will never have to purchase another one of these. It is rock solid, heavy weight and ripped right through my closet shelves. Spend the extra money and get the Crescent H.K. Porter PowerPivot, and then never think about the purchase again.

Nice
I got this in the mail and immediately went outside to cut through the padlocks I put on my fence. It worked really well. Great purchase.

Blades don't meet
Got it to cut field fence and hog panels. The only problem I have had is if the wire isn't tight it doesn't cut just bends it. The blades don't meet so it works best on larger stiff items. Cuts the hog panels much easier than my old bolt cutters.

Cuts hogwire like a hot knife cuts butter
I really debated buying the 24" vs the 36" because I had to build a hogwire fence and have never cut the stuff before. It's about 3/16 - 1/4" thick steel wire. I decided the double pivot mechanical advantage at 24" should be enough, because there was a $50 jump (basically double the price) to get the 36.Really, REALLY glad I went with the 24". They are already, very big and heavy. The 36 must be 40lbs.I'm also very happy to report absolutely no problem cutting through 1/4" steel wire, and nipping the tips off about 100 #10 screws.Great hard rubber (real rubber) handles on what must be solid, hardened barstock. Feel like I could cut the world in half! (If it would only fit in those little jaws.)Spring for the Crescent HK Porter. Not sure where they're made but you'll never need another one.

Cut through 3/8 quick links with reasonable effort
Cut though 316 stainless steel 3/8 quick links at 95 Rockwell hardness with reasonable effort and a LOUD SNAP. Glad I got the 24 inch. Well made. Will last a long time.
