Does the job?

If you are looking at this then you obviously are looking for just a basic visitor pass system to allow access to your premises.This is a decent book, although think most SME are probably more computer orientated. However if you are looking for just a simple access system this is not bad.£24.77 ( at time of review ) gives you 300 passes.The front and back are of a decent thickness cardboard so should last and keep the inner pages protected.The first page ( photo 2 ) allows you to record the time the pass is returned.The actual pass ( photo 3 ) allows you to record basic information and hand out, easily detached. The non carbon copy is then recorded ( photo 5 ), just make sure and put a bit of cardboard ( not supplied ) to seperate it from the passes on following sheets.On the back of the pass is also printed a good general disclaimer ( photo 4 ). Is a bit of ' word salad '. Really does not tell you much but looks good :)As with most non carbon copies the copy is not as clear but easily readable ( photo 5 ).Photos 6 and 7 show the original and copy.The paper feels about 80gsm, good enough for a temp pass. Probably best used in a lanyard. Is just slightly larger than a credit card ( photo 9 ).The only problem I experienced was the binding, only used it a very short time but already have it releasing, see photo 8. Not a big problem as easy enough to bend ity back.Overall, is a great solution if you rarely need temporary visitor passes.

Good visitor pass but there is nowhere to put time out so just have to write it on the sheet.

We get through a lot of these visitor tags in our office so I thought I'd see how good these were.The paper quality seemed good and the clarity and size of the print is excellent.There are fields for all the normal details that you need to take from your visitors but you should note that time out isn't on the slip, it's actually on the inside front page as a list of the slip numbers and the time out field is there.I can see why they might do this, it makes it easier to fill it in when the individual returns their pass rather than having to flick back through the various issued slips but in the event of an emergency you'd need to reference the issued badge numbers against people at the assembly point and those still on site wouldn't be on the front inner page.There is a cardboard page separator to prevent the carbon paper from marking on unused badges further back in the book.I liked the list of basic site rules on the reverse of the badges, not all visitor passes have this and they will cover most businesses health and safety requirements in the event of an audit.Perforations are good, didn't find that the passes ripped as they were taken from the book.Verdict: Good quality book of 300 passes. Print quality is good and information required is everything necessary for basic comings and goings of visitors. Price is similar to other offerings from business stationary providers.

CHERRY NCR confidential visitor pass is a great simple but great design. This is a nice example, it is a spiral bound design so it is super easy to use, and get the size right you get 10 credit card size cards per page and these fit nicely into many of your usual ID cases. The quality is really good and they are well worth the price.

A simple card A4 sized spiral bound book, containing perforated division into ten per page of "credit card" sized "visitor pass" tickets, 300 in total.This has fields to the front for entering the visitors details, and the reverse is printed too with disclaimers as clearly shown in the product pictures.The book then works like any "duplicate book" with a carbon sheet, placed between the prime page and the copy page in yellow, and a card to back that.The paper is reasonable quality but for an effective use of the pass I would expect them to be inserted into a plastic envelope on a lanyard.The cost then of the paper passes themselves works out at about 83p each at time of writing.In conclusion a simple but effective means for a small business or institution to identify approved visitors and keep a collated record of these.

The card is very flexible and is able to store a lot of information on it. It is also very durable and one of the best ID cards I have used.
