Good fluid, specifically recommended for my 2010 Chevrolet Equinox.
I put this into an older 2010 Chevy Equinox with over 140K miles on the transmission BEFORE there was any hint of a transmission issue...the car was running perfectly at the time, and remains so. The old transmission fluid was nearly black, this stuff is a nice cherry red. I should have done this every 50K-80K miles. I just removed the drain plugs, captured the old fluid, and put back in exactly the same amount. I realize this does not get out all of the old fluid, but I've seen mechanics on Youtube say if your transmission is working perfectly, avoid a "power flush", and just regularly refresh the fluid is safer than potentially getting debris forced into a narrow transmission fluid channel. This is the fluid recommended by GM for this car; I realize there are "multi car" fluids out there, but I went with the one specifically rated for my car. There have been no issues with the transmission before or after the fluid change. If you already HAVE transmission issues, well...I wish you the best, and hope this fixes it, but proactive refreshing of the fluid is proactive maintenance you need to do (unlike me on this car) roughly every 50K miles, despite what the owners manual says...the car manufacturer only "cares" about you during the warranty period....

Great LV transmission fluid, especially if you can get it as an open amazon package.
I order this as a used like new item from Amazon. Someone must have opened the original package and then returned it. The bottles themselves were never opened.I used to change the transmission fluid in my wife's 2015 Ford Taurus Limited. Jacked up the passenger side, let the fluid drain out, lowered car, then put in 1.5 of these containers, and move the shifter through all the gears to mix in the new oil.Jacked the car back up, drained the fluid out again, lowered car, filled up again with the remaining 1.5 containers of fluid. This gave the car a good transmission flush and 1.5 containers (6 quarts) of fluid is just right for this car. Cost was about 80$ altogether, I don't bother with the filter.

Exactly what is needed for GM transmission on my BMW.
Very few choices available for Dexron-VI ATF. This Valvoline is a true synthetic AT fluid. I bought 2 cases and performed the task of flushing my BMW's transmission and changing filter. The car only had 30K miles and yet the old oil drained out was black and totally contaminated. BMW claimed the oil on their original car is lifetime and never needs replacing. I totally disagree because right after I performed the fluid change, the shifting becomes crisper and smoother. It took 6 quarts including the filter change. But I did the flush twice because of the bad condition of the old fluids. I strongly suggest flushing the transmission after draining the fluid. Run it for a few days, then drain it again, then put in a new filter to complete a more thorough fluid change. This way, you will get more old fluids out because the converter holds quite a few quarts that unless you pull the transmission out for a rebuild, you will never be able to completely drain the system.I strongly vouch for the product. Since my BMW uses the GM transmission and GM spec to use Dexron VI, this Valvoline is 100% compatible. You just can't go wrong with it. However, having said that, performing the fluid change has to be done right. Since there is no dipstick on the BMW, the fluid has to be filled under the car through a fill hole with the engine running and also at an optimal temperature to be able to get the correct amount into the transmission. The only negative is the low flash point. If you read the data sheet from Valvoline, it states the flash point as 208C, which is quite low for a synthetic fluid.
