Versa checks have been around forever. When we first started our business many moons and a lot less gray hair ago, they were the first checks I bought. They were much more expensive then, and so I strayed and bought cheaper ones for a while. Back to the Versa after all these years, and I remember why I love them. Thcker paper, just all around nicer checks. But, this review isn't really about the checks. It's about the seller. I try to buy from the sellers that have the "Small Business" icon, because if I can't buy local at home, that's my preference. I like supporting the people who are like we are...small businesses out there busting it to make a living. I don't want to see the mom and pop stores disappear. I didn't realize I had used my last check, and when I figured it out, I panicked. I figured I'd be waiting at least 3-5 days, because there isn't a next day Amazon anymore. Those days are long gone. But these people? I ordered on Friday evening after I did payroll, and these were here on Sunday, in time for me to pay bills on Monday. Box was fully intact and well packed, looked like I'd just pulled it off of a retail shelf. These people went the extra mile, and I am very appreciative. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being super awesome people! Keep it up, the world needs more like you!

I've been using versa checks for years for my business They work great. The only issue is they do not have a signature line and with the software I am using, I can print the checks but I have to hand draw the signature line.

I purchased Versacheck 2008. I've put up with the annoying serial number entries, and nag boxes to buy MICR ink from them.I put in the serial code for this refill pack, and let it validate the code with the G7 servers. All of the sudden, the software put up a big warning box, forcing me to upgrade. I clicked "no", and the software stopped working.Turns out the FTC hit Versacheck with a big fine. Now they are required to verify funds before printing checks. This is the source of these "phone home" complaints you see on the other reviews. I didn't learn this after waiting 30 minutes on hold; I learned this talking to a competitor. The G7 rep basically read me the script from the warning box, and offered to sell me the new software. No thank you.I'm done giving G7 productivity money. If you're willing to pay about $100, you can have over a thousand checks pre-printed for quickbooks, for the exact same price per check as Versacheck charges for blanks. And that ends up costing less, because you're not picking up G7Prod's slightly overpriced blank checks, and you're not paying for G7Prod's really expensive MICR toner or ink, and you're not buying G7prod's really expensive, and increasingly invasive check printing software.Once you have the pre-printed checks, just stick them in your printer, and use quickbooks to print the checks directly. No more waiting for the virtual printer to load or clicking all sorts of unnecessary dialog boxes to print a darn check.If you're not willing to consider that, you can try MultiChax. It's the fugliest looking software I've seen since MS-DOS, but the people seem to be friendlier.

Great items and low price

I have never used this type before and I thought that I would be wasting most of the paper. But I have learned that it will work out.

Great product except a little pricy but when you need them fast AMAZON is the place to get them.
