We have had this filter in our hot tub for over 6 months now and its just now to the point where I need to reorder and change it. It rinses easily and it is easy to see where the buildup is because it gets a musty brown, but washed quickly away with the sink sprayer. This is the first time our hot tub really has kept crystal clean water from water change to water change, and I attribute that largely in part to this filter. We have used the disposable ones in the past that you do not have to rinse, but they have never kept the water as clear as this filter. I am super happy and will continue to buy this filter from Amazon since it is a lot less than the ones sold at my local spa dealer. I only have to rinse it once a month or so

Diameter was a perfect fit. Height was shorter than our Unicel by approx. 1/4" - 5/16" so our basket wouldn't lock in. We ended up cutting the ring off the old filter and placing it on top. Other than that it fit well and seems to be doing a terrific job.

I always buy these filters from this vendor on Amazon. They are the most economical and easy to clean filters on the market.

Great replacement at a fraction of the cost of the local spa shops. Just as good as the OEM filter and no more floaties in the hot tub due to old clogged filters. Would buy again as quality and fit are both excellent.
