Gave it five stars simply because of the price. Others I looked at online and at home Depot were much more money, some being close to $100 which I thought was crazy. It worked well and ended up tripping a few times not because it was defective but because my compressor motor was failing and heating up. After a couple times of being tripped though it failed permanently. If this was your only problem with your refrigerator then it would be a great product.

Very satisfied with the item

Ou refrigerator went out due to a power outage. because of the power surge the compressor stopped working. We were without a fridge for seven days!! To have someone come out and fix it would cost just as much as buying a good used one. After some research we learned that in many cases this overload product could help. We took out our old and replaced it with this OEM product. The fridge started right up. I know it is working better than before!! The best part is it only cost $10.00!!! YEAH Try this before you hire someone!!

I bought this as a precaution, my whirlpool stopped cooling, and wanted on hand if the freezer stopped working. I have not installed it yet but looks like it should do the job.

My original Klixon overload protector has the word Klixon on it. So this is an original Klixon OEM overload protector. No, complain.
