Sync 3 Compatibility
I feel the need to clarify some of the things others have written here about this antenna's compatibility with sync 3. It is very true that using this antenna you will get a navigation fault error. However, if you simply hit close on that screen you will in fact get a GPS fix. You can see that on the screenshots I attached. The error only sometimes appears and it seems to be when the antenna takes longer than 5 seconds to get a fix. I've had it taken as long as 30 seconds. I typically "see" 15-30 gps satellites and 8-10 glonass satellites.I mounted mine under the dash on an unused plastic bracket under the speak on a gen IV expedition. If the error message bothers you this isn't the antenna for you. However, I personally would trade the inconvenience of the error message for the $200 plus replacement OEM "fin" on the roof any day.

Works but isn’t perfect sync 3
I works but sometimes shows that you’re not on a road or it shows you offset to the left or right of the road.It could be improper installation but I tried it on the dash and under.Edit: make sure to update to the latest sync and navigation version to remove potential issues

Great for Sync2 to Sync3 upgrade.
Nice compact size, works great with my Sync2 to Sync3 upgrade. Seems durable enough to use externally, but is mounted inside in the center of the dash. Great price, strong consistent signal. Looks discreet.

2012 Audi A7 no navigation due to bad antenna on the roof
Worked like a charm. Followed YouTube video that explains how to install antenna.Plugged right in by the way. Tried sticking the antenna behind the DVD rom but no satellites were showing up so I had to route the cable under the dash by removing the glove box (7 bolts;8mm) and also had to remove some plastic pieces on the side of the passenger side door along with the passenger side column piece running from the roof to the dash, didnt have to remove that completely but just popped off the airbag emblem and then pryed the piece off a bit from the top. Hid the cable inside the roof liner and mounted the antenna to the side of the rearview mirror with the mounting pad included with the antenna . Fit perfectly. Got 9 satellites after installation and now Navigation works. FYI you have to drive the car about 1/4 mile or so for the nav to set location correctly. To see available satellites on the car push nav button then go to route and select offroad after that scroll up and down and you will see available satellites. Also nav updates along with firmware updates did not fix my lack of nav initially.

After weeks no GPS, always Zero with slash through gps satellite signal
After weeks of no gps satellite signal, from day one it showed a Zero with slash through it satellite signal. I plugged in light blue fakra splitter purchased here on Amazon and this Bingfu GPS antenna and bang! It immediately automatically adjusted my map and nav coordinates to my current location exactly (after weeks of cursor floating within a half mile of gps coordinates I entered manually in engineer mode / gps long / lat.) Had 9 satellites!! went to 6 I'm parked under house where I always lose Sirius signal but still 6 Satellites right now! It was always at zero slashed out! Perfect (mygig rhr 2o1o Ram)
