I love this! I am now able to stand and ...
I love this! I am now able to stand and sit at will, getting relief at work with each change of position. I change position about 5 times a day, standing and sitting about equally overall. I feel more energetic all week, legs stronger and no more back or shoulder tension. The design is so simple and smart, it just works, with a simple squeeze of the side-levers to raise or lower to any desired position. The platform is robust and sturdy so typing doesn't cause any wobbling or instability. This is an ingenious design and a flawless product. And if it sucked, I would not hold back!

Standing more and MORE energy.
I really like this option for standing. I find that I stand way more than I sit. Before I was sitting probably 8 hours per day and now it's probably closer to 2 hrs. We have a custom desk so it doesn't fit my desk perfectly. The depth of my desk is 22.5 inches and so overhangs by about one inch but still very stable. It is probably better ergonomics standing than sitting; so I need to tweak that. And there is no place to rest your elbow so going to have my engineering student 18 year old kid jurrey rig something for me. One thing that would make it better is more room on the keyboard portion. Between mouse, wrist rest, and keyboard there is not a lot of room. Plenty of space on the monitor portion. I have papers, coffee cup and charger for my headset up here. I do not have the monitor attachment but think that would put the monitors at better eye level. The funnel thing included to keep your cords together is essential. Not quite as easy to set up as it shows on website but the more wireless you are the quicker it would be to set up. But I having nothing that is wireless and no pinching cords; easy up and down. I am liking this a lot and wish I would have done ALOT sooner. Interestingly I am not noticing as much aches and pains. Good purchase though probably 150.00 over priced.

Lifting Strength Woefully Inadequate
The Ergotron Work Fit-T Sit-Stand Desktop (who gave it that lousy name?) is a nice looking, nicely made unit.Unfortunately, it's lift strength is inadequate for the amount of weight it's supposed to handle ('35 lbs). My top level 24-inch display plus Macbook Pro on a riser together weigh 34.4 lbs. When I click the release handles and lift, rather than have the top surface lift evenly with spring-loaded power assist, the front edge starts to lift while the back stays in place. Only way to get it up to standing height is to muscle it up, holding my hands wide on the handles to help force the back end up.That's the manufacturers fault putting out deceptive weight capacity numbers. You WON'T want to use this if your weight is near that 35 lb max.My other beef is with the seller, BuyVPC, and their courteous but inflexible 30-day replacement policy. When I received the Work Fit-T, I simply didn't have any time to do the time consuming task of clearing off my current desk (display, laptop, USB hub, cords everywhere) to install the Work Fit-T. So it's on me that it took until Christmas break to finally get this out of the box and installed, I get that. But when asked about a return/exchange (and the unit is mint as the day it was shipped, it never left the box until a few days ago) BuyVPC has shown no flexibility or understanding and a polite rigidity with their return policy. I'm less than impressed. So now I'm stuck a good-looking stand/sit gizmo I don't want to use because it's so hard to do so!If I get anywhere with a return from the buyer or the manufacturer, I'll update this review. It would get 5 stars from me if it did what was claimed. I don't know what the real world capacity is, but it's nowhere near 35 lbs, folks, believe me. And the spring tension is not adjustable, per Ergotron.

Great while standing, OK while seated.
Very nice desk, I was just disappointed that when it's all the way down (for the seated position) the keyboard tray does not go all the way to the desk as it seems to in the picture. There is a 3" gap between the top of my desk and the keyboard tray which makes the keyboard uncomfortably high when using it in the seated position (and I can't raise my chair any further without bumping my knees on desk and/or my feet are no longer on the floor). My fix is that I put the keyboard in my lap, and am considering an "under the desk" keyboard tray for when I am seated. Other than that it goes up and down smoothly, is very sturdy, and works well with 3 monitors attached by a triple-monitor clamp mount.

Highly Recommend. Great Desk.
I really like having this desk. It was super easy to set up and is very easy to raise and lower. It's made a big difference in my workday. I am no longer sore and tired from sitting all day. I can sit or stand alternately throughout the day. I have a large all in one monitor on it and still have room for a postage meter and my daily planner. The keyboard shelf fits a regular size keyboard but does not fit my mouse pad. The mouse will fit but not the pad - so I keep that on the upper area which has been fine so far. I highly recommend this desk since it's easy to use and I have more energy and am no longer all sore from sitting for 8 hours.

The Doctor Says BUY THIS THING
Disclaimer: I hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, have extensive training in ergonomics and postural health, as well as detailed knowledge and understanding of spinal pain, particularly chronic low back pain. I have not been paid for this review, nor have received any other incentive by Ergotron, Amazon, or any other affiliated companies to post it. The below is my own opinion, free of pressure and bias. This product is absolutely phenomenal. Used in conjunction with a standing mat, the WorkFit has all but eliminated the chronic lower back pain I have been suffering from for nearly 5 years. I find it's design much more compatible than other sit-to-stand desktop converters because it lifts straight up, rather than up and out like many of it's competitors, and has very small adjustment tiers within its 15" elevation potential, allowing for really VERY specific position to your preference. I would recommend this to my patients in a heartbeat. The WorkFit Sit-Stand is an essential for any office space, be it at home or at work.
