Absolutely Pleased :)
Very Pleased with this headset. I love that the mike can be unplugged and set aside. The volume is great. Don't even get me started on comfort. These are awesome. The feel of them around your ears is so amazing. So soft yet and our ears don't ache. They would hurt with others. Love they are adjustable for different size heads. The ear pads are not molded into the band. So, they add to the comfort of this set. It came with different usb attachments for different divices. Which is cool, because my husband takes them to dialysis with him. He loves them. I bought them for him, but the GrandSon and I use them also. We all love them. They light up and look really cool too :) As far as I'm concerned this is the best headset I've ever purchased. Definitely will buy another pair really soon. If there were 10 stars, I'd give all 10 of them. You can't go wrong with this set. I got the wired because my husband had to have wired, because the tv sets can't use wireless in dialysis. Easy to find and turn the volume up or down.

inexpensive excellence
For as inexpensive as they are they are actually a very nice set of headphones and mic. The audio quality is better than my last pair that were twice the price. The fit my big old fat head quite nicely and gaming has come to life with the audio quality.

Mic dead in less than 60 days….
Microphone is completely dead after less than two months of use in a home office for Teams meetings. Have contacted manufacturer for warranty. Mic was almost always spotty, but now it is totally gone.Update 5/16/2025: Manufacturer is VERY responsive to warranty issues. Fast replies to initial inquiry and email replies. They are sending me an entirely new unit. Great customer service.

Don't Buy These They Break In 30 Days (Happened Twice in a Row)
As an avid gamer for both PlayStation and PC, I do not recommend these headphones. I am very careful with my belongings and have had several sets of headphones over the years work for long periods of times. I found myself displeased with the software associated with the headphones I had been using and stumbled upon these while searching on Amazon. They were a great price and had decent reviews, so I picked them up. They worked really well for the first couple of weeks, were comfortable to wear, good sound quality, decent mic, etc... But on day 32, naturally 2 days after the return window they stopped working. The right headset no longer had any sound and the microphone stopped working. I had no visible wire kinks, no outward damage, nothing. They had never even left my desk. SO I reached out to their customer support, they were really great. Walked me through a few possible fixes, nothing worked. I even tried buying a new chord for it at Walmart, they were just busted. No idea why. I sent over the serial number and everything and the company sent me a new set of headphones. Great, I really appreciated it. Well, here I am again, just about a month, maybe less to me honest, after receiving my replacement headset and guess what stopped working? The entire headset. Nothing works. Completely out of the blue. I was in the middle of a game with my friends and the entire headset just gave up. Neither earmuff, no mic, nothing. I have no idea what is wrong with these things or if me quietly sitting here at my desk playing Minecraft after work with my friends is just too strenuous, but I am irritated. I withheld my bad review before thinking it was likely a problem with the particular pair I got, but twice now? Last a month and just simply stop working? This brand clearly has some quality control issues and if you like having headphones longer than 30 days, I recommend buying elsewhere. This being said, I have tried several other brands and NEVER had a headset last less than 2 years minimum before giving me issues. Do not buy these, they genuinely are not worth the hassle.

Bass is a bit muddy (updated review)
Updated Review (2022-10-06):I decided to cancel my return and keep the product once I was able to troubleshoot some more. The reason the 7.1 emulation wasn't working is because of either a faulty USB port or a bad driver installation, or both.To use the 7.1 surround feature, you have to install a driver package available for download on the manufacturer's website. I did that and when I plugged in the USB cable, the driver recognized the device was connected. But, when I tried to enable 7.1 surround, the program would crash.I reinstalled the driver and for whatever reason it worked this time. I can now toggle on / off the 7.1 feature. But it still didn't seem to work. My machine has many USB ports, several of which I've never used so I tried plugging the device into one of those and everything is working as expected. As for the muddy sound, that's why I only gave it 4 stars. I was able to set the application's equalizer to a somewhat acceptable position but there still seems to be a slight unnatural reverb when there is speech without any background music. Might take more equalizer tweaking. Here is my recommendation on tweaking the equalizer:1. Get a media player that supports looping a segment of a video or audio2. Get a video or audio clip with a broad range of sound (bass, speech for mids, and environment effects such as thunderclaps or rain or traffic sounds).3. Find a scene where there is a mix of audio types and set your player to loop a 30 second clip4. Listen to this WITHOUT headphones for a while, to tune your ear5. Plug in the headphones using the USB connector and tweak the equalizer until it sounds similar. I started with the preset "Metal" and then adjusted them manually. You will want to focus on the sliders in the 31 Hz to 500 Hz for the bass (explosions, crashes, soundtrack) and speech (Dom, Brian and others). The sliders from 1k and up will also need to be tweaked a little but those are for the higher pitched sounds (police sirens, engine revs) and require less adjustment. So after getting it to work, I decided to cancel my return and increase my rating. The headphones are comfortable to wear (despite the warmth) and as frustrating as it is to have to tweak an EQ, I understand not everything works 100% right out of the box. Since it isn't a technical failure of the product, I feel a 4 star rating is earned.Original Review:"Sound is muddy, 7.1 surround doesn't work"I wanted to like these but after a week of watching various content sources (music, streaming, gaming, etc.), the experience was overall disappointing.Pros:* The detachable cords - Easy to get a replacement if needed* The detachable mic - Nice for when you don't need it* Lightweight - Makes them comfortable to wear for long periodsCons:* Hot - The fake leather (vinyl?) earpads retain heat more than cloth ones and make your ears hot* 7.1 surround didn't work - No matter what I tried, I could not get directional "surround" in any games* Sound is very muddy - The frequency range is listed as 20 Hz to 20 KHz but it sounded like everything was being run through both low and high pass filters, dumping it all somewhere into the 100 Hz range. There was very little separation between speech and background music. This was especially noticeable in movies that were actually encoded in 7.1 and not being upmixed. 100Hz is the start of the human voice range so having all the other audio in that range made things sound bad.
