Westcott Multi-Purpose Guillotine Trimmer, 12", Black (16559)

I have been using this product to cut shipping label paper which is very sticky on one side. I have not had any issues with it not wanting to cut. If you cut sticky things with any type of blade, whether it be scissors or a paper cutter, do your due diligence and spray some Goof Off on a rag and wipe the adhesive from the blades to keep it from bending paper instead of cutting it. I have always done that on any blade I cut sticky paper with and I’ve never had an issue with the blade not wanting to cut

Bought this to replace our cheap office paper cutter- as the guard was loose and breaking off. This cutter is so dull/cheap, we hardly ever use it and are still trying to get by with the old one. If you have one sheet of paper it works ok, but anything over 5 sheets it starts tearing. Definitely don't try cardstock.

I opened the box, took the trimmer out and tossed the box in the recycling dumpster. Then I discovered I was missing the end of the handle ... not sure if it was loose in the box (I didn't hear anything rolling around in it) or if I didn't get it. So, it's a little tricky to use now. At any rate, check your box!

Extremely sharp, be careful. Very lightweight and does an excellent job for me

What's the blue bar for? Most people like to see where they are cutting, and that bar needs to be clear. Flimsy at best. Really disappointing from what was a quality brand at one point. Returned.

When cutting 8 1/2 x 11 sheets, the bottom 2 or 3 inches do not cut cleanly, ripping instead of cutting. Poor. Works fine on paper up to 5 x 7.

Very well built and sturdy. Very sharp blades, cuts paper (even card stock) easily. Easy to assemble.
