A Must Read for Emerging Coaches
As an HR practitioner, I coach leaders on various HR matters as part of the role. I have been considering becoming an executive coach in a more formal way. This book provided great insights on the coaching approach I could use. I learned the methodology and process the author uses, and I got a good sense of what becoming an executive coach would be like. I liked that the characters were so real and vivid...we have all worked with leaders like them! There were some passages that were touching, they exposed the human and interpersonal element of coaching. I highly recommend this book for those interested in learning more about the art of success as an executive coach. It is a quick and easy read.

Dr. GreinerThank you for this amazing book. I wish I had found your book 5 years ago, prior to selling my tax and accounting firm in San Francisco. Your book has inspired me to get a executive coach as well as take the steps to become an executive coach. I have greatly benefited from this book. Let me know when your new book comes out. This is a recommended read.Gina & Franck

Insightful, Honest and Useable
Very insightful and varied stories of real clients. The goals, remedies, tips, and takeaways are extremely useful. This book gives a great sense of the timing and what happens week to week in a coaching engagement. Very helpful and well done!!

Disappointingly basic
From the title (and price) I was expecting to read intelligent information about executive coaching. What this small book offers is a series of scenarios relating to one-dimensional characters and a theoretical coach. I never return books to Amazon, but in this case I've made an exception.

Not really helpful
For the price I expected this little executive book to be jam packed of insights but to me it read as stories about the author's career. Not a lot of substance for how-to.

This book is a waste of money
This book has bunch of useless stories with no techniques and any useful info to learn. It like someone decided to brag about their coaching accomplishments in a book.
