Cut and punch your metals into perfect circles, featuring four different sizes: 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", and 1". Made from high-density steel. Cuts soft metals up to 18 gauge.Instructions: Use a disk cutter on top of a rubber bench block or pad for support. Use a cutting lubricant, such as "Cut Lube" to lubricate the cutting edges of the punch. Use a suitable mallet, never a nail driving hammer. We suggest our 1 lb or 2 lb brass mallets which you can find for sale on our website.Always support the opposite side of the cutter with a sheet of the same diameter metal that you are cutting. (This will help keep the upper and lower parts of the disk cutter in alignment and help minimize material sticking in the disk cutter).Do not exceed the maximum thickness recommended for your disk cutter. Only cut soft non-ferrous metals like brass, copper, silver and gold.Make sure that your cutting edges are down.To prevent rust, keep your disk cutter lubricated between use and store in a dry location. We recommend to use this with a rubber bench block pad to extend the life of the cutters which can be found on our website.Finish your blank by drilling a hole for a chain or cord by using our 2 hole puncher that can be found in our shop. Also, try hand stamping letters, numbers, or shapes into your blanks! Browse our wide variety of stamps to suit your specific needs. Please contact us with any questions. Thanks for looking!

Works well with a little grease
Not as good as the 300 dollar one's but for 1/10 of the price it works good enough. I'm using a little bit of lithium grease on the blade edge and that has improved the performance significantly. Hit hard, the fewer hits you need, the better.I'm using 22g dead-soft brass sheets.

Liked it.
Works as advertised.

Garbage
Save your money. This is worthless. It's near impossible to cut/punch/hammer and perfect circle with this thing.

COMPACT & PRECISE
I think this little disc cutter is a great deal for the money! It did exactly what I expected and wanted! I cut these discs in the picture out of 24g copper from Rio and about the same gauge brass from a big box craft store. We all know Brass is harder! I did not anneal it first (but look forward to doing that next)! These took me less than 5 minutes! Can’t wait to cut a ton for an interesting necklace, bracelet & earrings!

Works great!
You're supposed to use it with thin metal but what can I say I'm a rebel. I used it to press out coin blanks made of pewter and nordic gold, held up good for both of them. If pressing out thick alloys make sure the whole bottom is supported. Idk right off hand hoe this my sheets were but they were barely able to fit in the slot.

Awesome Item and easy to use!!
I love this disc cutter, makes the job so much easier and faster and lots of fun. I recommend using a small jack press for thicker gauge silver/copper/brass plate, because it's easier and takes less effort.

Doesn't work for brass tooling sheet
I bought this to make circles in 38ga tooling brass and it failed miserably. The material would get pulled and deform when punching. I gave two stars because it might work with other materials or gauges.
