I bought these to bring into my preschool program for the older children. They loved them and spent most of the week using them over other options. Will buy this product again.

It should be sold with the beads but it's what it's. You need these peg boards for the perler pegs.Great product

I like having the extra shapes because the layout of the beads are slightly different depending on the shapes ie. The square and heart are mainly a regular layout, where the star and hexagon are offset slightly.With these shapes you can just go wild with colours to fill the shapes and make them as is, or we have used them with the free downloadable templates from the Perler.com website and created those pictured. Tree uses a circle, world with the heart, and the recycling sign uses the star pegboard.Having clear pegboards means that you can lay them directly over the templates to make following the pattern a little easier, although it is still a little tricky to see the variation between similar colours, for example the three shades of green in the tree.Overall I am pretty happy with them, they are fairly inexpensive but allow for additional use out of the beads, and seem sturdy.

Kids went through a perler bead frenzy and made everything you can think of. Love these to keep them busy. They are 8 and 10, so don't think it is only for littles!

My girls can bead their own picture or trace a picture with the clear plates. They were getting bored with the layouts from the books and trying to copy an picture by eye isn't very easy. Now I feel like I'm getting my money's worth for the bucket of beads I bought because they're using them all up.

My kiddos got super into these over the summer so we needed more and bigger bases. These have worked great, love that they are clear and we can see the design, easy to use for a 4 and 7 year old, great size and overall a great buy!

I love everything so good! one problem, the square bead holder was flat but when i did a big project I ironed it and it wasn't super flat, it just came up a little still I don't care its still amazing and doesn't affect your projects!
