What a buy!
This wiring harness is an incredible buy. It gave me the ability to have lights on a trailer, simply and cheaply. It was a moderately easy DIY project that would have cost many times more to have this done by a professional. It worked perfectly the first time I tested it.

Plug and play product with instant results.
This wiring went in easy. After the trim was pulled back, it installed quickly without any issues. My CRV is now ready to pull a trailer with fully functioning lights on the trailer. A much easier job than what I was expecting. Took about 40 minutes from start to finish. No splicing, soldering, etc.Strongly recommend this product type for any Honda CRV owner that wishes to pull a trailer or boat.

Excellent!
This replaced two other brand units that had failed. What I really like about this unit is that the included harness extends to the trunk area. This puts the interface module in an accessible position in case there ever was a failure. It is also unpluggable. The previous two brands required dissasembly of interior panels to get to the factory connection where they plugged in. So, had to take apart back of the car (2014 Honda CRV) three times. Now, if the Tekonsha interface module were to fail (which it probably will not - they make good product), replacement is plug and play. Can't recommend this product enough! Happy Dude here!

Easy to Install and it Works.
Very easy install in my 2013 Honda CR-V. Once you remove the trim, all you have to do is plug it in and screw in the ground wire. Super simple. No splicing involved.

Simple driveway install in under an hour.
Installation in our 2016 CR-V was a snap. No drilling or cutting required. I just Googled the phrase "2016 Honda CR-V Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Installation Video" and found an excellent video which I followed to a T and it worked perfectly. We expect to use this rarely or not at all, but I'll be installing a hitch to carry a bike rack soon and figured it was a good idea to have the trailer light wiring just in case we need it for a small trailer in the future. Because it's not to be used often, I simply followed the instructions on the video and left the plug & wire tucked in to the spare tire compartment where it will be safe from the elements and we can pull it out and just close it in the hatch for access if needed.

Perfect set
This was exactly what I was looking for and it was very easy to install on my suv. There are videos on how to install most of these sets. Just remember to have the tools needed before trying to install it. Now I can go camping with a trailer for long periods of time. Cheers!

My install on a 2016 Honda CRV went well!
Removing the trim went easy. Follow the YouTube videos and the trim should come right off. Confusing for me is that some videos showed the connector that you T into in the bottom side panel. In my car, it was the TOP panel that had to be pushed out of the way. Don't let this fool you! I installed the black box near the spare tire so this way I can easily replace it if it breaks. This makes it easy to replace the fuse as well. Don't forget to install the 7.5 A fuse in the vehicle fuse block! Mine was the only open one on the bottom row. If I can do it, you can do it!
