Though it's a bit pricey for all the more it is you won't find it cheaper anywhere else and the vw dealership near me wanted a week to get it in. I'd recommend getting one from the scrap yard or calling them to pull it, this one also fit my girlfriends mk4 jetta as well as my audi a4 b6 for the sake of crossreferencing. This product did work great and got to me fast. If you're installing one on a coolant flange on an audi a4 b6 I'd highly advise buying a second one just in case and tying it to your wrist with a piece of floss when going to install it. Id also recommend buying a new oring for the temp sensor (they have a habit of stretching well past tolerance and not providig a great seal) and lubing it with dielectric grease as it helps to protect and nourish the rubber and makes it easier if it has to be disassembled again later. Had to buy a second one because I lost mine and couldn't find it until I turned the car on and it vibrated onto the garage floor. Also, if replacing the temp sensor make sure to get one with the right color connector as the black ones have fewer pins.If you found this helpful please make sure to give it a thumbs up.

I needed this retaining clip for my Jetta. I found it at one online parts source for 39 cents, but the minimum shipping charge was $12.95 from that vendor. I found this on Amazon for three bucks and change, with free shipping. It slipped right into place when I installed it. I had used a piece of coat hanger wire as a temporary retaining clip, but it popped loose a few days ago, fortunately just as I got home. I ordered this part and it was delivered quicker than I expected. I'm happy with the deal.

good fit, worked well, my first experence with a plastic part for this type of union seal. I'm confident it will last for the life of the auto.the old one I removed was still good but I'm one who replaces everything with new when working on this type of repair.

Purchased with Amazon Prime ... Arrived on time and the part fit perfectly in my 2000 VW Jetta (2.0)! Although the original clip was still usable since I replaced the coolant sensor I went with going with a new clip as well. Worked great!

well, if you are smarter than me, get it from the vw dealler first. only cost less than 1 buck from a vw dealer near me.if you live 100 miles away from the nearest vw dealer, gas price will make it even with this amazone price. i realized it too late. your call~btw, dealer also has the coolant sensor o ring for less than 2 bucks. you may need it also. amazone has plenty after market flanges for you to choose. these are for the vw coolant flange leaking fix.
