These bags outlast most other similar products. Also, they are the only such bags that you can wash with soap and water if anything accidentally spills in them. I was given one back in '12, and it finally gave out about a month ago. Fortunately, I was able to locate a seller online with the search string, "Mexican mesh shopping bags," as I told that the first bag was purchased in Mexico. I considered the possibility of buying a bunch down in Mexico and selling them online myself, but I never got around to doing it. Although I believe the mesh on the original bag had a mesh that was a little thicker and heavier than the ones recently purchased, they still appear to be made of the same tough material, and I expect my 3-pack to last me another decade.

I ordered these because of the plastic bag band in my state. I love taking these on my grocery shopping trips because they are very durable, you can fit a lot of items in it and they are a very good size bag.
