I use this product in my Gluten Free bread baking business and it is amazing! The increased viscosity of this starch allows my bread to hold its shape and stay there during the baking process. The resulting loaves are lighter, softer, and larger than they used to be! I’m loving this new product. It is definitely changing my business and wish I could buy it in a larger bag.

great for gluten and dairy free baking
I use this product when baking bread for my wife who suffers from multiple food allergies. It makes a big difference when added to GF flour mixes instead of using straight tapioca starch. I usually go half tapioca starch and half expandex, along with white rice flour and sweet rice flour. Great product.

Very speedy delivery
My main concern is how to use this. I am gluten free and I was trying to make homemade noodles but they didn't turn out too well. The dough was way too thick. It rolled out without tearing though which was good although I couldn't seem to get them thin enough. When I cooked them they were so slimy. Don't know what I did wrong.

Gluten free game changer.
I first discovered Expandex in a gluten free on a shoestring recipe claiming it would make a foldable pizza crust. It really does! It also gives great elasticity to bread! A must have to incorporate into gluten free bread recipes.

Gives gluten free baked goods a nice texture
Discovered this product from a gluten free bakery in the Denver area. The bakery makes cakes and other gluten free baked goods that are amazing! So, I wanted to give this product a try and I'm glad I did. I noticed a difference in texture right away when using this product. I typically use a 1/4 C. in each recipe and adjust the next time if needed. There're no instructions as to how much to use, so I just experiment until I get it right.

Life-saver for the gluten-free diet!
My husband and I have been on a gluten-free diet since Thanksgiving and have tried numerous bread recipes, all which were like eating cardboard. I recently ran upon a recipe that called for Expandex, so I looked it up. Pretty awesome stuff! And it really works!!! Just a replace a quarter cup gluten-free flour with Expandex and be amazed!
