Great design and quality materials
I found this butane soldering torch to be well designed and constructed with an aluminum tank and a body that appears to be good quality glass-filled plastic. The tank fills easily, the torch ignites reliably, and the flame adjustment is very smooth and precise. It may be a bit higher priced than some of the others, but I think you get what you pay for in this case.I just finished soldering a thin metal plate to a worn cap gun hammer release cam which is about 2 mm thick and protrudes from the hammer. I wasn't sure if it would get hot enough given all the heat pathways, but it worked perfectly. Bang!

Using for Solderstick Connectors
This does not come with Butane fuel. You must buy the fuel and fill according to instructions. Once filled, you will be able to use this for a mutitude of chores. I'm looking forward to using this when I convert my 48v gold cart to a Lithium Battery. I'll try to update after I complete the conversion.

Not bad for the price
Took some getting used to from others I had used but worked fine once I watch a YouTube video on it

Too cheap not to have two.
Sometimes you have to solder when there isn't an available source of electricity for your plug-in gun. This gets the job done and is relatively cheap.I live on 12 acres and have implements scattered about for security. This makes it simple to ensure I have top-notch electrical connections.

Awesome choice for a Butane Soldering Iron
I have owned several butane soldering irons. This butane soldering iron is by far the best one I have owned. The quality and performance of the iron is fantastic. I would highly recommend this Lexicon unit. Quality of the iron is amazing.

Set should have contained extra Heads/catalysts
A month ago this review would have been a 5. Of course, that was before I had actually put the thing to the stress test of use. I recently rewired a scooter and it worked wonderfully until ... not sure, exactly, but in reading other reviews it seems maybe the head/catalyst has a tendency to, well, not last very long.A few other buyers mention the $10 replacement cost as adding up to the cost of the iron quickly. I agree. I'll buy two (just paid for them, actually, and which, in my opinion, the set should have included) and when those don't work any longer the thing becomes useless. Very nice when it works but this is a problem. Contacting support through their site when you've purchased on Amazon was not fun, either, so I resort to this. Sorry guys.
