I have two of these rackmount fans by Rockville! And for me, they work great by keeping my electronic gear cool and dry. Fan noise is really low and normal sounding. The heat temperature meter is precise with large numbers. Overall for the price a great rackmount fan!Marcus

Complete and utter garbage! First of all, the fans blow the wrong way, out into the room as opposed to in the same direction as the server fans, creating a counter-productive airflow. Second, I purchased two of these a few months ago, and so far 3 out of the 8 fans have failed completely after making hideous squealing noises for weeks. Pathetic!

Vey nice. It does keep the air moving. I'm not really sure that the temp. reading is entirely accurate though. I also wish it was a little less talk cause I had to sacrifice a component in order to slow space for it in my pa rack.

Works well, a little noisy

Does not fit my standard 19" rack without some filing. The holes are not set apart far enough horizontally. I have had it only 2 months now and one of the fans has already gone bad and is making an extreme amount of noise. I had to remove it and am only running on 3 now. I'm just waiting to see how long the other fans last. No markings on the fan whatsoever to be able find a replacement with. I would not recommend this fan.As for the one comment about them blowing the wrong way, he may have mounted the fan on the front of the rack. I mounted mine on the back in order pull the hot air out and they are correct for this.

Fast shipping and very solid product. I use it for my amps inside my rack for mobile DJ, it works great and keeps my amps cool. The digital reading is a plus.

The fans work fine, but the unit is not a standard rack size. Not as useful as it could otherwise be.
