Once you put one of these on a reel you will probably do it on all the others. I did. It’s most beneficial if doing a lot of casting, drop shoting and other moving presentations. There’s a lot more control with the bigger knob. Essential is to get the right fit for your reel. You want the knob to fit snugly enough on the handle so it doesn’t slide back and forth, which is distracting. With the ball bearing drive it’s very smooth. These are made with different colors and surfaces; order according to your needs.

For shimano spinners? very easy and quick to install. takes less than 5 minutes if your slow.for penns or spinners that have knobs without the ability to screw off the old and place on the new knob, theyyyyy are a bit more difficult. and you will need to drill off the rivited on existing knob post and buy a new post from this Gomexux personal web site for about 4 dollars each.... spinner company manufactures should make it mandatory to have these style knobs on their reels!!!!!!!

This will be my 4th knob, I love these they are so smooth and don’t add any weight, they work really well with my Daiwa and Shimano reels.

PWhen I bought my rod & reel, I spotted that the knob was another item someone else had purchased together. I tried to include this however the next time I looked it was gone.Once I purchased the Gomexus power knob, it all came together like it should have appeared the first time.I’m considering buying this power knob for my other reels. Love the quick response without any fumbling.

The description says it fits Shimano Stradic reels, but it does not fit the FI. The inside bearing is larger than the outside bearing on the Stradic reels I have. The inner and outer bearings provided with this knob are the same size. The bearings provided fit the outside position only. There is no way to make this fit.Update Oct 14: I was able to drill out the hole for the inside bearing and reuse the old bearing. So old bearing inside and new beating in outside position. Also made a spacer to control lateral movement.
