A must have resource for Shakespeare's Macbeth readers!
What a fantastic tool! My 15 year old daughter says this book (Macbeth in Plain and Simple English) made all the difference in the world for her. Written in a very organized format with wonderfully simple translation, this resource is a must have for high schoolers approaching Macbeth as an assignment!

Every page should indicate the Act and Scene
This book is a great book for dumbing down MB. I wish that the Act and Scenes were indicated on every page in bold letters. This would make referencing a lot easier.

now I get it
My 9th grader is in honors lit. The school provided a book for macbeth but my 9th grader was having trouble grasping the text. Once I got her this book it has been smooth sailing. She is enjoying the class now and has an A. I would recommend this to all.

Perfect for Teens
I got this for our 13 yr old daughter because I knew that she would like the story better if she could get around the language. I love that it has the original and the "translation" side by side so that she can still enjoy the language.

My son hates Shakespeare
My 10 grader is less than enthused about reading another Shakespeare book in English class. When I saw this original/modern translation I knew it would make the book much easier for him to understand. I wish I'd discovered these translations earlier!

Great product, exactly as advertised
This book is great for helping high school students understand the text. I have been giving it to one student to act as the "translator" while we read the play out loud as a class.
