Shop Fox D4103 Mini Lathe Chuck with Arbors

I have a SHOP FOX Model W1704 mini lathe. This fits perfectly and runs smoothly. Packaged very well and sealed with lubricants. I previously ordered a different one which NOT only didnt fit my lathe but it was poorly made. IM EXCITED TO HAVE THIS ADDITION!!!I make jewelry and this is awesome for polishing rings. Fits the adjustable ring mandrels perfectly!!!

I ordered this piece for my new Craftman lathe 6 speed.It fits prfect, it was delivered super fast, and it was pretty simple to use.It holds the wood nicely and tight.It was great for its price.I would recomend it but I've only had it for less than a week so I don't know howwell it will keep long term.

A must have for mini lathe

This was a great tool when I first started out with my mini lathe and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a larger chuck. This really is only mean for small items and still comes in handy on certain projects. It is a solid feeling tool with metal jaws. The only draw back to this item is the way you have to tighten it and its ability to hold that tightness while turning.

It worked really well, but a couple months after the purchase it broke after falling just a few inches on to the lathe bed. I contacted Grizzly for a replacement and all seemed well, but they sent an entirely different kind of chuck which I don't need or want. I attempted several times to contact Grizzly again thinking it was just a mistake. Two weeks has gone by and I have not heard from them again. Its a lousy way to honor a warranty.

Versatile beginners lathe. Works very well, has the settings to do what's needed with made type and grades of wood, easy to use and teach a novice.
