Works well and smells great!
Use on my Cavalier monthly. Lathers well and smells good. Only drawback is that it is really runny.

Low foam
We have a small dog and this has been our go to shampoo since we got him. It is very low foam unless you use a bunch of it. I tend to use just enough to where the dog is nice and scrubbed. The scent is amazing and we all love it. Even if I get a little bit in my dogs eyes he doesn't twitch or move away. He loves his baths and this soap is the best for him.

Let's set the record straight - this is a great dog shampoo!
I've used this on my adult dog for over two years because I wanted a mild shampoo. When I used to work at a dog groomers we always added water to the shampoos so they wouldn't be too soapy or produce too much lather--otherwise it can irritate the dog's skin and eyes, and also be difficult to wash out completely. So if you are looking for a high-sudzing dog shampoo (which I would never recommend using on a dog of any age) this one ain't it.As another reviewer noted, start by washing the dog's body first. When you get to its face, USE A WASHCLOTH. Don't just pour shampoo on it's head. Be careful not to get soap or water in the dog's ears. Be sure to wash off ALL the soap--run your hand over his head, ears, neck--rub it and see if it feels even a little soapy. If it does, keep rinsing. But my experience with this shampoo is that it rinses out very easily. Anyone that is getting 'residue' isn't getting the soap out. And if the dog still feels dirty, well just wash him some more! And the scent? It's lovely! Not too strong and smells very clean.Make dog baths an event, something that you and your dog come to enjoy. Ours used to wriggle and fight, but now he loves it. Use tepid to slightly warm water; not cold or scalding. Go gentle until your dog learns to trust you with this operation and so he learns that it doesn't hurt. We didn't yell at our dog or yank him around when he wouldn't behave or tried to get out of the tub; we talked soothing and tried to put him at ease. Now we laugh and have a good time. When he's done, he loves the towel rub down. And when that's done, he tears around the house like a crazy dog. I can only imagine it's from shear enjoyment of being clean!
