Bloc Skylight Blind for Velux Roof Windows Blockout, Pewter, MK04

Was expecting some difficulty fitting these based on some other reviews. Couldn’t have been more wrong! There are only three components, the top and two sides, and four screws (although two of those were missing). Anyway, took around 5 minutes to fit and now I have complete blackout in the loft room. Nice quality and cheaper than anywhere else

Perfect fit, easy to install.Instructions could do with some work, but once offered together it was easy to see how they work.No light passing through.

When I saw the price of these blinds and watched the video of how easy they are to install, I thought that there must be a catch and too good to be true. But there is no catch and they really are easy to install! The blind I ordered arrived the next day and by watching the video again, I installed it in less than 10 minutes, everything just slotted in perfectly and I love the Pewter colour too. Ordering the right size blind was also easy as seller’s website shows you where to find code on your skylight to ensure correct sizing. The only reason I dropped a star is because when the blind is fully down there is a very slight gap which allows the tiniest bit of light through. This isn’t an issue for me but may be for others. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Very well made product, 4 screw fitting ,not hard to do. Top cover to the roller a little wider than expected, on a small window it blanks off about 2 inches 50mm, but on a larger window would be barely visible.

Have bought three of these for Velux windows in our new home, all three up and working perfectly in 20 mins. So simple to put up and brilliant blackout, genuinely can’t see anything when they are closed over even in the middle of the day. Would recommend 10/10

This blind is a god send if you want a completely blacked out velux.Quite simple to fit and the instructions were good.It is spring loaded so when you unlatch the top bar it lowers itself to open.You need to be able to reach it though. No use if you were short or the window is high. Great for a room in the roof.

So easy to install! After watching the video, the instructions are hard to work out what way round it means to thread the blind in but the watch the video on here and super easy. Installed 2 blinds in 5 mins, looks great and easy to glide up and down, just what we needed!
