I have sampled these and they are not bad tasting. I would recomend that you keep some spices on hand to improve the taste,something like garlic or what ever you like. I have eaten about everything that the Army has thrown at me from C rations, LRRPS, T-Rats and MRES. All have been improved with a few spices, so keep a kit handy for when you just want a little more taste to your meal.

I can't believe they sell this for this price. Nearly half the overall weight is white rice. 200g rice, 84g refried beans, 56g mash potato, 80g banana, 16g strawberry slices, 12g green beans... This is the first review I have ever written and it's only because I was so ripped off... Be warned

Have not tried these as they are strictly for emergency. I am sure, regardless of the taste/consistancy if we are hungry enough they will suffice.

Not great for camping or backpacking, because you need a lid. Weren't as good as other brands in my opinion.

Better than expected flavor.

Potatoes flakes...par boiled rice...a small flimsy bag of dried green beans...and two entrees, one of which was....potato soup. You pay that price for this package I assure you that you might as well throw your money away on something that makes sense.

This is a great product for a good deal. If you are looking for some quick camping or even another addition to the "Grab Bag" then go for it!

The article is written like there are 24 of these, but there are ONLY 4. They're really not that great. Pretty much bland and tasteless.
