Amazing power!
An amazing product but so powerful you need a large house or garden to get best use out of it

None worker
This toy does not work. We have had two of these toys for my sons birthday and nether of them moved at all. Fully charged battery's and even googled set up for a plug and play toy. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Boat side was no good
Bought for my 5 year olds Christmas present, loved the car but wanted one to turn into a boat. Took to the local pond/river and went to a boat easily however didn’t move hardly at all. No control over it on the water just floated about. Disappointed in the boat side which is what we wanted the most ☹️

Fun going from land to water
My seven- and eight-year-old boys got these for Christmas. They come in very large boxes which looked pretty impressive under the tree. In the box you get the car, the controller, a rechargeable battery for the car with Tamiya connector, a USB-to-Tamiya charger and a 9v battery for the controller. The boys were very excited when they first got hold of them, but driving on land was a bit underwhelming. We've previously played with the Nikko Velocitrax, which is very fast and easily goes over all kinds of obstacles. The Aqua Jet is much slower, and even though it's advertised as being able to "power across any terrain", it struggles on anything other than fairly flat ground.I was ready to make this a 3-star review, but then we went to a park with a pond. It's so much fun driving the Aqua Jet from land into water and transforming into boat-mode. That's the magic of the toy, and it compensates a fair bit for the weaker land performance. They're not very fast on water, but the propellers are very responsive and it's fun sailing around obstacles. I was initially concerned that the battery might die when the car is in the middle of the pond, but the light flashes on the controller when the battery is beginning to fade so you have time to bring it back to land. The charge cable plugs into any USB charger. With a 1.5A charger it takes 3 hours to fully charge the car battery. The charger delivers up to 2A which would be a good bit faster. The car battery lasts for about half an hour of play.Overall, the Aqua Jet is worth getting if you have a pond nearby that slopes smoothly from land to water. That's where it comes into its own. But if you're mainly after an off-road land vehicle, there are much better alternatives available for the money, and I imagine it's the same if you mainly want a boat.
