This Works! Unfortunately I might be going a different direction.
This item is just what I needed, was putting together a Amp Rack with Self Cooling, was going to hook 6 120 fans up to it and let it rip, watched the videos, is easy to set up, unfortunately after my Box went in to the trunk I have no room for the rack.... Sad Sad Sad...I will be keeping this item however, I know I can use it for other things, good product from SMD, would buy again if I ever needed another.

Amazing product
Used to manage cool air flow in car audio amp rack. Very solid product.... easy to install based on instructions.

DOA both of them
Bought this foe a cooling amp rack build. The one I bought and the replacement I received both came not working. Instructions don't provide decent installation instructions, no guidance from the company videos or internet company at all recommend stay clear of the product

Instructions are wrong!
So I purchased this thing thinking straight forward install. Opened it up and thought that the overall item is 4-5 stars. I am in the middle of my build and am ready to install so to be safe I open the instructions to find out they don’t line up. There is a 16ga. White and black wires and 3 possibly 24ga red, yellow and black (the same typical colors of a 3 wire computer fan. power, ground and RPM). The instructions talk about a Red white and black and then a grey and black. So now I’m worried about incorrectly wiring my 114 dollar investment and being out the money. I think well let me email SMD.... several days go by no answer... how about a YouTube video talking about it, well not that I can find. Turns out folks on the SMD forum have been talking about it but no one from SMD chimes in to clarify, rather a bunch of audio guys work out the issue them selves. Seems like a let down in customer service and quality control. For 114 dollars and no help as well as searching for info across the web it’s got to be two stars. I like the product I think it’s a great idea but I just don’t feel I should look everywhere to find the right way to do it. So if you bought this and are going to keep it the 24ga yellow wire is the trigger wire the white and black 16ga wires are positive and negative to power the fan. As mentioned in the forum you can test this with a 9 volt battery.

DOA
One arrived nonfunctional and the other turned on a 3amp fan but then wouldn't shut off. I am on my third one now and it seems to be fine.

Poor product and customer service.
Product did not work. 12v was constant even with controller turned off. Sent email to SMD and also tried to call multiple times with no response. Amazon stated SMD had 48 hours to respond. 4 days later nothing!! Now I have to pay %20 restock fee!! Garbage. SMD should be ashamed for their service
