Topec 13+1 Piece Impact Bolt & Nut Remover Set - 3/8" Drive with Nut Extractor Socket, Hex Adapter, and Bolt Remover Tool for Damaged, Rusted, or Rounded-Off Bolts, Nuts, and Screws

After spending hours trying to remove partially stripped, rusted, frozen bolts, I ordered this set and received next day delivery. Bolts were removed within minutes!! Unsure of the long term durability, but they worked great.

I bought a truck and it had locking lug nuts on it. As much as I would like to say the previous owner lost the key, I have to say I lost it and couldn't find it before a long road trip. I don't know how many pound feet of torque the last installer put these on with but it had to be in the tons of pounds. Yes, I know that is not realistic but they were significantly over torqued. These are very heavy duty and took the locking lug nuts off with relative ease. I had to hammer them on pretty hard but it was super super easy to remove the locking lug nuts. I would highly recommend them. I am not one who doesn't like to leave negative reviews. I will absolutely leave a negative review if I don't like a product or it is not up to par. These are worth every penny in my experience.

This product worked great. Oil drain plug was rounded off. Just hammered on the 13mm socket and got it off quick.

I used the 5/8" 16mm extractor to remove some very stubborn Pitman Shaft bolts on the top of a Steering box. Impact socket rounded 2 of them while trying to break them loose with a 1/2" impact. Think they were torqued to about 800 ft lbs. Because of the tight working space, I used a 15/16" wrench on the Nut part of the extractor (which i really like) and a cheater pipe & was able to break the bolts lose. I was really worried that this was going to slip because the extractor fit pretty lose on the bolt head and there wasn't any other size i could use since these go from 14mm to 16mm and nothing in between. Felt like i really needed a 15mm, but i put the 16mm on there and turned and it grabbed and did the job. I gave this item 4 stars because in other places the manufacture (or seller) states that these are "High Carbon Steel" but they are not. I can tell they are not "High Carbon" because of the marks left on the teeth inside the extractor after use, and because of how i used this tool and because it did not slip or anything, if it were High Carbon it would have cut into the softer metal without leaving marks inside the tool. But anywho, it worked well for what i needed and the price was good. This is one of those tools you hope you never need, but are happy they are there when you do.

I bought this set knowing it wasn’t the most expensive option, but it worked perfectly for my needs. I used it to remove a hopelessly stuck bolt on a flywheel, and it came off effortlessly on the first try. While I can see a little wear on the socket I used (see pic), I’d estimate it could handle another 5-10 bolts before needing a replacement. If I were using these daily for work, I might invest in a pricier set, but for occasional use, this is an excellent value. Totally worth it!

Took 1 minute to remove pitted mangled rounded rusted nut that was fused onto an exhaust bolt holding a bracket to the exterior of an engine.

The set is well made and heavy duty. I would buy again if needed. It has a great storage case to keep all of the set.
