Excellent build and value for cane users
This is an excellent cane/umbrella. The cane cannot be adjusted so it may not be useful for shorter people. I'm 5'6" and it's pretty maxed out for me. The canopy is solid and very well built. The cane can be used with or without the umbrella.

I actually like it.
I actually like it, but have liked the interior cane portion be a bit sturdier for self defense (person or even an animal when out for a walk; however, it is a good purchase. I travel a lot so taking a light (not heavy) 2 into 1 is ideal. It’s of good quality & does exactly what I need it to do... keep me dry, out of the blazing Sun, and actually protected. I would use it in a pinch for security - at least until the point I grab my concealed weapon (so in this case it’s perfect). What I don’t like: 2 things. #1 the location of the cane detach button. You will have to open the umbrella to get to it ...it is a good 12 inches from the top (probably done for safety, to prevent a less mobile person from accidentally dislodging the cane from the umbrella- & after you get yours -you’ll see why. It works , but if the button was higher up, you could detach the cane quicker (safety vs accessibility). #2 - I prefer a Black cane but it comes with a BROWN plastic rubber stopper looking piece at the end that contacts the ground. Probably done out of pricing - because that looks like left over piece from an adjustable shower rod company. You know the kind with rubber stopper looking things on the ends that push up against the shower/bathtub wall? Yeah that thing. To clarify, it is good enough that I would get another despite those 2 things. So, whoever made this - SEND ME ONE of the new ones that corrected what I noted above. I WILL use it and review it as I travel on my You Tube Channel with 30k+ followers.

Real deal quality and versatility
This 2-in-1 cane umbrella is exactly as advertised. The handle is rich looking even though it's made of plastic, but it has a smooth and solid feel. It is solid, hard and durable type plastic--not light and brittle cheap plastic. The grip is firm. The umbrella canopy is wide enough for two people, and instantly springs open at the touch of a button farther up the handle. Just pull down on the slide to close it with a click. Ribs of the canopy are strong and flexible to withstand strong gusts of wind. I haven't tried it in the rain yet, but given the over all high quality, I assume it repels water. The cane is solid and has a strong shaft with a regular style nonskid tip. The shaft comes free from the umbrella section so that you can hold the umbrella in one hand, and the cane shaft in the other, so as to continue walking without getting wet. It is possible to walk with just the ferrule pointed shaft for a short distance, but for a long walk I recommend leaving the shaft in the umbrella section to get the benefit of the cane tip and greater height. There is a carry sleeve that both protects the cane umbrella, and that can be slung over your shoulder for easy carrying. I use the umbrella for emergency backup in case of rain or if my rollator sustains damage so that I can still make it home using the cane feature. By the way the shaft is pointed enough to use as a self defense weapon when employed in a forward thrust stabbing motion. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the cane height adjustable. Being five feet ten it's just adequate for my needs, but for a person much taller--I don't knowww!!? As you can tell though over all I am a very satisfied customer, and would generally recommend this product.

Rubber tip not safe on tile floor
Rubber tip readily slips on hard smooth surfaces such as: tile floors, smooth concrete floors like you would find in most parking garages, and some sidewalks. Need adjustable handle. My advice would be to change the rubber tip on the umbrella for your safety. The tiny rubber tip on the cane itself may not last a day. My advice again, just don't use the cane by itself, unless for self defense? I'm sure there are other options out there, so investigate before you buy this one.Dan

Good Construction
This has lasted way longer than expected, I use it both as a cane and umbrella every chance I get only recently has the first issue appeared; the plastic handle pieces is slightly loose. Hasn't fallen out even when shuffled about in the car, etc. The velcro is holding up fine through some miracle. Umbrella action never had any issues. Great product. Even the rubber nub on the end is firmly attached.

Nice looking and performed well in Irish autumn weather.
I needed a walking stick and umbrella for a trip to windy & rainy Ireland when a hooded jacket was not enough for my wife and I were walking together. This umbrella fit the bill nicely. It also traveled well through the airports.

Walking umbrella cane
When I carry this and people realize that it is a cane with an umbrella. They are very interested in it. I actually thought about this late evening. And when I sought out any device that has been invented already I found this. I carried all the time as I live in Florida. Chance of rain is 50% every single day.
