I AM A 70 Y.O MOM. & I STILL LOVE A GOOD FAIRY TALE--HAD TO PURCHASE THIS FOR A VIEW & RE-VIEWS!!
I first viewed this movie about 20 years ago (at age 50 or so) and had been searching high & low just to watch it ONE time and I ended up purchasing it so it would be forever in my library! This is a fairy tale like no other I have ever seen because it holds a moral to the story for adults!! It didn't really hit me until I watched it for the first time in 20 years (or thereabouts).I am not going to give an instant replay because you must discover the magic for yourself! Besides I think that is cheating!All I will say is that there are wonderful actors in this like 2 Oscar winners in *William Hurt*, *Sissy Spacek*, & Jonathan Jackson--The Family TUCK in almost it's entirety-- (I cannot recall what the eldest son's name is in IRL, but please forgive me for that omission, whatever his name is!!See if you can resolve in your own mind what the moral truly is in this wonderful story-for young & the OLD alike (like me)!

Sweet young adult to adult film
Magical, sweet romance with a message that living forever is a double edged sword. Great acting. Tiny bit of violence. Someone gets shot. Ive seen it a couple times. Disney. Good.

The Movie "Tuck Everlasting"
I know this movie is quite good, cause I saw it on TV a couple of years ago. I Truly enjoyed this movie Very much, so when I saw it for sale on amazon, I jumped at the chance to get it. It came quickly and it seemed to be in good condition, it was supposed to be new. But, I did not see any seals under the shrink wrap, so that made me a little suspicious. When I took it out of its package it looked just fine, except for the seal under the shrink wrap, so I put it in my DVD player to watch it. But, when it came on it said "In large letters, "CANNOT PLAY", I was very upset, to say the least! So, I took it out and went into my bedroom, and put it in my DVD player in there, and it did the very same thing. So, I had to get it packaged again and will mail it on Monday! I can only hope they (Movie Mars) will Replace it and send it back ASAP. This incident makes me leery of getting anything through the mail ever again.SincerelyLaVerne Conerly

A real good, feel good movie
I have seen this before and still purchased to stream. It is a family friendly movie (well, one guy does die, but he deserved it, LOL).Alexis B is charming as ever. I like concepts like those portrayed in this movie. It was a joy to watch.
