Johnson Controls M9102-IGA-3S Series M9102 Non-Spring Return Damper Actuator, M3 Screw Terminal, On-Off Floating Control W/Timeout, 18 Torque, 50/60 Hz, 24VAC

One bedroom zone in our house never heated or cooled reliably. Installer could not find reason for such, blamed it on everything and anything but their products and installation. Finally fed up I investigated in detail myself and found the zone control motor stopped working consistently. Finally, the motor completely died. Had the company come out and confirm this was the problem. Many hundreds of dollars in "service charges" for a problem they could never identify or fix. They then wanted $700 dollars for a new installation of the product they use, which is only available for professional installation. Did my research and purchased this because it matched the specs perfectly. 10 minutes later the zone control is working properly again. Does not have the fancy green / red light on the motor to show open or closed but otherwise exact match. Will buy another one to have on backup as we have many zones in the house and if one of them died, probably more will as well.

I really like how this unit will disable the power after making it's 90 degree stroke. The old units would keep the motor driving and eventually wear out. This was an easy replacement, but pay attention to the terminals, they were not in the same order as my previous motor also from johnson controls.

Works great
