LanParte Wireless LANC Remote Control for Panasonic GH4, GH5

So, I am using this remote for my Panasonic LUMIX G85 (which is not on the sellers list of compatible devices), but it works anyway! I really needed this to start and stop video recording while simultaneously using the HDMI out to a monitor. It does just that as well as take photos. It will NOT, however, power on/off my camera or zoom in/out. This is due to my camera in particular has a manual zoom on the lens an on/off switch on the camera. I did not expect this to work whatsoever since there can’t possibly be a digital override for these manual adjustments. So, just turn your camera on, point at what you want to shoot/record and go! Had a few hours of use out of it and works perfectly. If you need a remote that will also start/stop video as well as take stills, this is it! Very happy with this product

The other functions all seem to work except the cam power button. It's not a deal breaker but it sure would be nice if Lanparte or the dealer would get back to me with an answer and fix for this defect in their product. Other than this one defect the remote works great to control 3 cameras from one remote and there is no other product on the market that functions like this. I just assumed it would work since the other Q&A and feedback I read said it worked with Panasonic Lumix cameras with a LANC connection.

I needed this as a remote for my Panasonic GH5S. It tried to communicate but could not. Tried many configurations. After a long customer service saga, they sent me another. That did not work, either. And customer service was worse than worse the second time: no response at all despite numerous descriptions, polite emails, and patience with non-response. In short: terrible product, negligent company.
