I got this after discovering that storebought DVD of "The Great Escape" was a terrible mess of a mastering job, as it looks like they shot it through a cheap camera from a projection screen to get it on digital.So being into Blu-Ray these days, this box set has a few titles that both my wife and I enjoy, and the picture quality is GREAT and AUTHENTICALLY widescreen without the huge blank spaces on the screen.Great sound quality, too! You'll enjoy this a lot if you love McQueen!

I purchased this for 'The Great Escape' which I saw many many years ago. I got a great deal on a "used" set from a third party. It turned out to be brand new in original shrink wrap for half the "new" price. I watched the "The Great Escape," it was better than I remembered. And I will for sure be watching it again. I watched the other movies and found them all to be excellent. "The Sand Pebbles" was my second favorite. The picture quality was great. Some reviews mention disc problems, the only thing I noticed was one movie, I think "Sand Pebbles" showed a black screen during part of the opening credits, I fast-forwarded through that and had no issues with the actual movie playback. Very highly recommended set. I will rewatch all of them at some point.

I particularly liked the Thomas Crown Affair. I had not seen it ... and it was great.Cheers.
