Extremely great guitar for playing Metal
If you want a guitar that looks and sounds like Megadeth/Metallica/Slipknot then this is the guitar for you. Very sleek and sexy, a total show off guitar and excellent for beginners.Pros - Stock pickups sound really crispy and clean and the clean tone is off the chain it sounds so good. Has a great body shape and the tuners on the head, for mine, were locking tuners so that was a huge plus. Took nothing and no time to restring through the body and it stayed in tune 99.9% of the time. Fret ends were polished and NOT sharp at all, neck was in tune and intonation was already set. It is very rare you open a guitar and not immediately have to do maintenance on it. The strings that came with it were basic gauge but were clean and NOT dirty.Cons - NONEBeginner or pro, this guitar is freaking awesome. Pair it with a Katana MK II 50 amp and a BOSS GT-1 and you will be in HEAVEN.

Solid but has issues
Solid guitar but made of very light wood. Had a few issues getting it to stay in tune. Overall good product.

I wish guitars had this kind of quality when I was a beginner.
Impressive neck, fretboard, and fretwork for a guitar in this range. It feels and plays great and mine was nicely set up right out of the box. The fretboard feels a bit dry but I sort of like that it's different - I have heard that some fretboard oil can remedy the dryness if you find it to be an issue. The tuners are what you'd expect but they work, the knobs feel nice and taught, and the pickups are surprisingly tight for fast muted stuff but expectedly lack warmth. The body is light so the location of the front strap button encourages neck dive (I have seen pictures of these with strap buttons on the back near the neck plate but mine came with one on the top edge). I remedied this by unscrewing the strap button, unscrewing a neck plate screw, drilling out the button so that the neck plate screw fit through it, sliding it on to the neck plate screw and then tightening it back in place, then putting the original strap button screw back where it was to fill the hole it left. Or you could, of course, just sit when you play or get comfortable with the balance as it is.For the price you can't go wrong with this. It is a great beginner guitar, and a great platform for more advanced players to upgrade. If you put some nicer tuners on this and a set of better pickups, it could easily hold its own against more professional grade guitars.

Light like a croissant
This guitar is just wow… like wow. First of all, I love it! I appreciate the wider frets at the headstock, makes holding chords and shredding easier. Soo light, like I was shocked. I was expecting it to be heavier but once I unboxed it, I loved it. After tuning it, it’s great to play. Nothing more to say but a great investment. If you’re thinking about it, just do it because I was on the fence about it and I love it. 10/10 would recommend. GG EZ.

Bang for your buck guitar
I was kinda iffy about buying a new generation Jackson, because I’ve seen very mixed reviews on them. But I’m glad I made this purchase. I was riffing and learning all new songs fresh out of the box after a string change and some adjustments. It’s comfortable sitting or standing. I have mine in drop C and I could put it down for a day or two and it will be perfectly in tune. I definitely recommend this guitar for anyone looking for a budget explorer shape. Personally, I’m going to get locking tuners, and maybe a new set of pickups, but that’s just my personal preference.
