Does what it is supposed to do
OEM filter for my scottmans ice machine. It is overpriced, but I'd rather pay more knowing it is made for my ice machine

Keep Ice Crystal Clear
I used to have to clean out my ice machines mechanics every 12 months or less. With this filter installed I can go 3 years and the mechanics are still almost perfectly clean. Not only less work, but greater peace of mind. No contamination, no scale.

Does its job.
This filter works well with our Scotsman ice machine. It lasts about six months before needing to be replaced.

It filters. It fits.
It filters, it fits. I will say, though, that I have had to de-crust the ice machine (we have extremely hard water) much less often after installing this filter... so it even helps with minerals.
