Gunnar - Blue Light Reading Glasses - Blocks 65% Blue Light - Vertex

This is my third pair from Gunnar and I find the quality to be on par with high end frames. Fit and finish are great. The yellow tint is great for computer screens and reduces eye fatigue.

Really liking these glasses for work in the office, with the subtle amber lenses, they look cool and block some blue light to keep my eyes less stressed

My first pair arrived busted around the eye frame. I did a return/replace and had a replacement in no time. I wore the replacement for about a month and had to return/replace them. Just yesterday I tossed the 3rd pair on the counter and the frame around the eye piece is again busted. I'm past the window of a return. I wouldn't buy another pair due to the this issue alone but if they weren't so fragile I would give them a 5 star. No glare, yellow tint isn't to obnoxious (necessity for blue light). and fit and weight real nice. as a note the glasses have busted in the same area each time so it's just the eye piece that seems to be weak.

I used to work with this guy that refused to spend money on reading glasses. He was in his late 50s and needed them to read anything but he said that the went to the Dollar Store twice a year and bought a dozen of them. To make it even worse--when these poorly made glasses invariably broke he'd cobble them together with paper clips, fishing line or whatever else he could find. Little did he know that *everybody* talked behind his back about his shabby reading glasses. It undermined what little credibility he had.I learned a valuable lesson from that guy--you've got to go with quality reading glasses. I bought the pair I just replaced at the Vancouver airport--I paid like $60 CAD for them but they were built like a tank and lasted for two years which is an eternity for reading glasses. Unfortunately, they broke before my current trip to Denver so I ordered these and had them sent ahead to my hotel. I have an identical pair in a different magnification to use on the computer but figured that I might as well use them for reading too. I probably don't need the blue light filter for reading books or whatever but no harm done. Most importantly, my peers look at me with awe and admiration because I take my reading glasses seriously unlike my clueless former colleague.My only gripe really doesn't have anything to do with this product--I wish Gunnar made more of their styles with magnification. And, yes, like any other glasses they'll break if you don't take care of them. That's why you've got to get a hard case for them like the one in the picture.

Y'all rock btw and I so appreciate y'all hanging tough during such a sketch time. About the product.....Tough durable well made....some people say "it makes everything yellow". Wear em for a while and take em off....you'll get a clue. I wear them unless I'm driving and let me tell ya when I take em off it's like I'm blinded by brightness. I'm going to get a pair for driving too one of these days. The drawback....heavy duty on the nose. They pinch...but rather a pinch here and a squeeze there than a cheap set with cheap lens and a cheap frame....My nose will survive and get tougher. After a couple months they are my "Go To" .

I have had several pair of this brand and style. I purchased one a few weeks ago and with a couple of days it was scratched bad on the right eye piece. I assumed my mistake that I must have really handeled them poorly, becuase I had never scrached one significantly before. My prior pairs I had kept for long durrations without incident and only replaced becuase of actual warranted wear and tear or loss. I scratched this pair too badly to wear a week after purchase. I think their quality has dropped signifcantly. I am done buying Gunnar.

There is no doubt these are very high quality. Most importantly the Blue Filtering will make your eyes feel incredibly better. I highly recommend these glasses if you work on computers!

I've always bought my reading glasses at the pharmacy and just could not get the exact power-magnification and clarity that worked for me. These new Gunnar reading glasses are the best I've ever owned. Great clarity and easy on the eyes. I ordered one pair to try them out before ordering back-up and just decided to order 2 more. Awesome reading glasses.
