This coffee saved me
I had a mild case of c diff which resolved, but post infectious ibs and a burning in my stomach, particularly when I drank coffee or consumed acidic things, plagued me for several months after my infection resolved. This coffee and cold brew coffee, only one cup a day, were the only ones I could tolerate without having burning in my stomach. As a coffee lover I’m glad I didn’t have to give up coffee for several months and had this easily accessible to me. This also tastes good and is organic. I feel this flavor is much better than the bourbon flavor as well as the French roast. I still buy it even though my gut is a lot better because it’s very good coffee and I prefer to still take it easier on my stomach, even though I can tolerate regular coffee without getting any burning now.

Doesn't taste like coffee
I have to agree with the others who stated that Puroast doesn't taste like coffee. I was looking for a low acid coffee and saw that the reviews were mixed on Puroast. I've tried a few other brands but they all suffered from lack of flavor. I decided to take a chance and purchased the Organic House Blend Medium Roast Ground coffee package. Upon opening it I noticed right away it did not have that nice coffee aroma that you would expect. It smelled different. Almost dusty. Not pleasing at all. I brewed a cup and found it to be somewhere between instant coffee crystals and a cheap coffee drip filter you'd get in a roadside motel. It was really bad. So it looks like I'm back in the hunt for a good tasting low acid coffee. Luckily I only ordered the small $14 package since this coffee is non-returnable. If you've never had Puroast before, don't buy any of the expensive packages. Might be a costly mistake. Now I'll have to find another use for my Puroast coffee since I can't drink it and I can't send it back. Maybe dump it in my flower beds?

If you like a fruity flavored coffee over a roasted flavor, this one’s for you
This isn’t my favorite one. I prefer the Vita cup only because I don’t like a fruity flavored coffee I like that roasted flavor but it is lower acid so it doesn’t upset my stomach. I just don’t like the flavor but if you like the fruity flavored coffee, then this one would work for you.

Very effective in controlling acidity. Flavor still reasonably good.
Very effective in controlling acidity. Lives up to the claims made by the manufacturer.I grind just enough beans to make a single cup each time. I am needing to use 2 fistfuls of bean to make a strong enough cup of coffee.

had to tweak proportions
Ordered only b/c Im noticing more GERD like symptoms, this coffee was recommended by a friend, who had already tried several other brands on Amazon. I made my first cup in the usual proportions when filling the reusable Keurig pod, for a 10 oz cup of "joe". I was not pleased with the bitter, almost overcooked flavor, especially since I do not add sugar to coffee...only a tad of honey. Mentioning that fact to this friend she said it was better than the others tried, which were like espresso coffee. That rang a bell and I decided to try another brew using less coffee grounds for a 10 oz cup. I added a dab of honey and the results were great. I did enjoy my late afternoon coffee break and will continue to use this brand if it helps my digestion issue.

This is the one
I've tried a handful of GERD-friendly coffees (I still drink normal coffee but switch when I need to). This is the only one that tasted like coffee (and wasn't crazy expensive to boot). It's potent & tasty and perfect as a basic coffee, with or without addins.I use a pour-over and 2 tablespoons is a little bit strong - perfect for a latte though.

Less acid...awful taste
We tried this coffee in three different brewers. Not good. We tried using a little more, then a little less...no good. We tried adding milk, cream, oatmilk, almond milk...(I drink coffee black, so the added stuff had no appeal). Awful. It dawned on us after trying at least a dozen approaches: this coffee doesn't taste good at all. It may have less acid; it may be "pure" coffee; it may be expensive (it is). But it's not good.
