Sparthos Knee Compression Sleeves
This compression sleeve seems fairly durable, provides decent support and fits snug. Does not slide down my leg. I measured my knee as instructed which was 16" circumference. Ordered a XXL and the fit is good. The sleeve itself is about 13.5" long once you place it over your knee. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 as the material is a kind of cotton blend, as opposed to a spandex type material. The problem with that is I wear the sleeve under a knee brace and the velcro straps of the knee brace are very difficult to pull off the sleeve if they happen to touch. I have a few spots where the sleeve material has been frayed by trying to pull the velcro straps on the brace away from the sleeve. This doesn't happen with sleeves that are made of spandex. Other than that, it seems to be a good product, good support and a bonus that it comes in a pair and not just one sleeve.

Cool
This brace works well- allows better movement than the neoprene ones- and is not as hot.

Fit and softness
It was pretty good, but not what I was looking for. It was very soft and I love that. Worth a try.

I flew a motorcycle--
over a ditch, unintentionally, when I was young and dumb. My Harley and I remained aloft about a second. I landed first, on the ground. The Harley landed on my left knee. See where I'm going with this? More recently, I attempted to break up a fight between my neighbor's dog and my sweet Sadie. When the fight was over, both dogs were unwounded, but I was once again on the ground. As I attempted to stand, that old left knee failed to cooperate. Torn meniscus.I now wear Sparthos Knee Compression Sleeves on both knees throughout the day. (The right knee aches, too. Arthritis and a pesky hamstring pull.) I'm an active old codger. I work out, I walk the dog, I do yard work. The Sparthos sleeves are great! I wear a size "large" and extend the sleeve high on my right leg (see pic above--wish my legs looked like that) to cover the spot where the hamstring connects to whatever it connects to. The sleeves allow me to climb, slowly, sixteen flights of stairs as part of my exercise routine. (Not trying to be Mr. Olympia--just trying to stay even.)This is my 2nd pair. I would still be wearing the first after more than a year but somebody (maybe me?) put the Sparthos in the dryer. Anything that will stretch and support so well will also shrink when subjected to the extreme heat of a clothes dryer. Don't do it. Follow directions. Handwash. Air dry.I've worn probably a half-dozen brands of knee sleeve, and also tried three or four brands of knee wraps. The Sparthos beats them all, hands down. They do what they're supposed to do--provide excellent support and extend from upper calf to lower hams. They're durable, and they look great, even on my skinny old legs. I'll buy another pair soon as I forget and stoke the new ones in the dryer. In fact, I may buy another pair today to wear while the new pair are air-drying at room temperature after a gentle 2-minute wash in the kitchen sink.

Supportive and not too tight
I bought this on the recommendation of a tennis playing friend. I have a meniscus tear and this really gives extra support without cutting off circulation. I am able to play racket sports with minimal pain. Highly recommend.

Light Support
I'm a 28 year old with an old right knee injury from basketball and horseback riding. I've always had annoying knee pain and worked on it. I don't always need a knee brace, but I like the support it gives me and usually helps for support during a work out. I don't do anything super crazy...usually elliptical for 30 minutes and weights without pushing it. This brace is lighter than my previous ones, but still offers some good support. There is no inner ribbing on the side like some have to support, so it's not the most supportive, but still works well.I think if you want a brace that you need light support and don't have an active knee problem with swelling and inflammation- I think this brace works great. However, if you have an active flare up you may need a little more support.the sizing is a bit strange also. when I measured my knee I fell into a Large...I usually wear a Small to Medium in all my other braces since my legs are relatively small. 3 inches above my knee measured 18 inches which falls within a Large....I ended up going with a Medium and it fits great. You want it to be a bit tight for the support so make sure you consider that.
