These emergency lights are just what I was looking for. They fit to the wall (ceiling) well and don't stick out looking like a two eyed creature. Put this on above our garage storm shelter, so when the power goes out, one can easily see to get in. Please note: the plastic is brittle, mainly the lenses for the lights. Although this comes as two, I only got to install one. The first light installation, was replaced due to the housing slipping off my ladder, and falling 4 feet to the floor. It shattered into many pieces, almost like glass, so be careful. The second fixture went in well, and works as it should. Actually quite bright when tested in a dark garage. Looks like the three backup batteries wouldn't be too difficult to replace, when their life is up.

I purchased TORCHSTAR LED Emergency Exit Light. I am very pleased. While it is advertised for business I am using it in my home. It was a great value purchased on Amazon in a dual pack. I placed one on our second floor landing and the other in the basement. The installation is quick and easy. The light is bright and floods the area so navigating the stairs durning a power failure is safe. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

The NEC calls for EL's in all restrooms in a commercial facitity, this product is perfect. I would have given it 5 stars, but I wish the batteries were more robust.

Product was used to replace / update existing emergency wall lighting . Had an issue w one device and Justin answered the call and took care of the problem over the phone ! Good company to deal with !

Got it fast. Installed just as fast.

I can't say anything about its claimed 90-min battery time since I haven't had any power failure to use it yet. I bought it for home use, and I think it could be better for smaller space (i.e. homes and not commercial buildings) if:a. Smaller and lower profile (i.e. less visible). This can be done easily since there's lots of empty space inside the unit.b. Less LEDs. If there were just 6-8 LEDs instead of 12 on each end of the unit, the light would stay up for probably 3 hours instead of 1.5.c. Photo (dusk/dawn) sensor. So if power failure happens during day time the light wouldn't turn on and save battery (for night time - if power failure lasted that long).d. A bigger battery pack (2000-3000 mah) to increase lighting time.
